ผผู้ใช้ไม่ระบุชื่อThe hotel is right next to the train station. Easy access to the city and buses/trams/grocery stores/ restaurants and major tourist spots. We stayed one night since our second hotel had no availability by the time we decided to add an extra day, and due to a big conference most other hotels were fully booked out as well. Fortunately Cabinn still had one of the Captain rooms available.
It had a queen bed that was okay, with space underneath to stash luggage. We had enough space for the pram and the travel bed for our baby (she ended up sleeping with us on the bed though). The window opened only one direction and only a limited range, so airing was complicated (this was the hottest day in years, 35C, so airing overnight was essential to survive). The bathroom is okay, rather stuffy, but adequate for one night. The bathroom doesn't air out separately tho, so anything other than a cold shower warms up the room further (and increase humidity by a lot).
The main door is a tighter revolving door, which was a little scary to use with a pram. Would've liked to have a fire door or similar, as this is also hard to use for anyone with a wheelchair. We didn't have breakfast here, but the 7th floor was super hot (where the restaurant is).
Room amenities are fine, hair drier, sanitary bag, shower caps (although one of ours was already opened by someone else), shower gel+shampoo combined. There's a small kettle with complimentary coffee and tea. There's a small built-in desk with a chair plus a coffee table and two lounge chairs, which makes the available space a bit stuffy. Some beverages are available to purchase at the reception. Otherwise pretty okay place for the price, despite the difficulties with a pram and the bathroom airing problems.

ผผู้เข้าพักThe room stank of bleach which by the morning had gone and then just stunk. Very dated decor and uncomfortable beds. For the price of it £180 I expected at lot more from this hotel room.

ผผู้เข้าพักถึงแม้ห้องพักจะไม่ใหญ่มาก แต่สิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกในโรงแรมค่อนข้างใหม่ บรรยากาศโดยรอบเงียบสงบมาก และอยู่ติดแม่น้ำ เดินเล่นริมแม่น้ำได้สบายๆ ค่ะ สถานีรถไฟอยู่ห่างจากโรงแรมประมาณ 15 นาที แนะนำโรงแรมนี้ให้เพื่อนๆ ที่กำลังจะไป Legoland เป็นจุดเปลี่ยนเครื่องค่ะ

ผผู้เข้าพักWe met the friendliest staff from the get go at this place.(especially the nice receptionist that works day shift). The rooms are neat, nicely decorated (with a touch of elegance and home confy) very comfortable lines and bed (we slept so good the whole night in our 2 night stay). We appreciated that a electric fan was provided in the room (very thoughtful, we take this a sign that these people think about the comfort of the guests). They have sufficient lounge areas that had playrooms and a common kitchen a
Fridge. Breakfast was also a pleasant experience, not too overwhelming with the selctions (nut enough). They provided all types of milk (for eks soy, oatmeal etc). The location was good, you are at the city senter with some selections of restaurants nearby, (close to lego house) and a convenient store and not far from Legoland and Lalandia and there was a free shuttle service as well. A very big plus for me (car traveller) was a good space for parking at the back of the hotel and e chargers as well. Guests should not forget to check the mini shop they had with so many goodies to buy and this hotel has a restaurant too for guets thay might want some dinner.
Only thing that was missing in my opinion was an ice machine:-) and a fridge in the room ( but i guess little space for that)
All in all a very good experience for us.

ผผู้เข้าพักLet’s start with the highlights: the breakfast? Absolutely glorious. I’m talking next-level delicious. The beds? Comfy enough to make you consider skipping sightseeing just to stay tucked in. And the sauna? Yes please - the kind of warmth that feels like a full-body hug from a well-adjusted Scandinavian.
Now for the slightly less fabulous: I discovered a bit of mold in the window, which I cleaned myself (you’re welcome, Comwell). Didn’t ruin my stay - just gave me a small DIY moment before coffee. The bathroom had a slightly plastic feel, a bit “budget spa” rather than “boutique hotel,” but hey - it worked fine and had good water pressure, so who’s really complaining?
All in all, I’d come back. Comwell Kolding nails the essentials, and if you’re into excellent breakfasts and quality rest, you’re in good hands. Just maybe bring a cloth — just in case. 😄

SShanice GiselleChecked in around 1900 using a code sent to my email, place looked clean, except for what looked to be black mould on the windows and some corners of the bathroom. Can’t lie, the room smelled funky — like sour sweat. No clue where it came from. Around 2200, loud banging noises outside my door. Kind of scared me because there were no other locks on the door other than that electronic keypad.
Overall, not the worst stay. Okay for one night because there really isn’t much to do in Vandel and the location is relatively close to Billund with the bus stop a walkable distance away. Ended the stay off with a nice sunrise in the morning, which was a plus.

The breakfast was brilliant, varieties of food to choose. Many diff amenities in the Lodge, suitable to child to adult, even a swimming pool.
A must stay place.
