A very well situated hotel in the heart of Liege, very reasonably priced when booking in advance - be aware that the facilities are basic but the shower pressure is good and the beds comfortable - I would stay again, but the downsides: -The room was very warm with no AC and a window that doesn't open! -Only two plugs in the room, both on the desk - not near the bed. - No kettle (no tea or coffee making facilities).

Bardzo przyjemny i czysty hotel, cicho i spokojnie, mimo że centralnie położony. Parking zamykany bramą, niestety może być problem z miejscem - nie ma gwarancji, że będzie można zaparkować. Kawa i herbata dostępne całą dobę w holu. Bardzo miły personel.

Я останавливалась в Van der Valk Hotel Spa во время сольной поездки, и осталась очень довольна выбором. Отель удобно расположен — прямо в центре города Спа, рядом с термами и зелёным парком, где приятно гулять и отдыхать. Номер был очень уютным, чистым и хорошо оборудованным. Особенно порадовала просторная ванная комната и удобная кровать — всё способствовало комфортному отдыху. В отеле царит спокойная атмосфера, что особенно важно, когда путешествуешь одна. Персонал был внимательным и доброжелательным, всегда готов помочь и ответить на вопросы. Завтрак порадовал разнообразием: свежая выпечка, фрукты, горячие блюда — всё вкусно и аккуратно подано. Для меня это место стало отличной точкой для восстановления и перезагрузки. Если вы путешествуете в одиночку и ищете комфорт и спокойствие — Van der Valk Hotel Spa определённо стоит рассмотреть. С удовольствием вернусь снова!

ทุกอย่างโอเคค่ะ สะดวกสบายแต่ใกล้สถานีรถไฟเกินไป ตอนกลางคืนมีคนเมาอยู่ข้างนอกบ้าง และเสียงกริ่งจากรถไฟดังตั้งแต่เช้าตรู่ ไม่ดีต่อการนอนหลับเลยค่ะ แต่โดยรวมแล้วก็โอเคค่ะ

We had a good stay at Aux Etangs. The hotel staff were friendly and the room was clean and quiet. It’s a good location to explore the Ardennes region. Acces by car is good but public transport might be challenging. As there are not a lot of eateries nearby we ate at the connected restaurant. The food was good but the waitress for our table was not very helpful. We asked if she could speak slower but she just continued at the same rate. We felt we didn’t get the same level of service compared to the other tables due to our fluency in French. In the end: nice food but upgrade your French first. We would come back for the hotel but not the restaurant.

The hotel is clean and location is good. But the insulation of wall is very poor. First night I can’t sleep until 4am in the morning. I constantly heard the toilet flushing, chair is rolling, walking sound and door slamming above our room. We complained that next morning, but the reception said “why don’t you let us know last night ?” I wished I can but there is no telephone line in the room to call reception, and I didn’t want to get up from my bed and go downstairs to report it. Reception didn’t apologise to us. I found it is very rude. I wouldn’t not recommend this hotel to friends or family.

J'ai aimé le thème de l'hôtel basé sur la bande dessinée, le hasard a fait que je tombe sur une chambre Gaston Lagaffe, top, il y avait même des bandes dessinées à lire et qu'on pouvait acheter à la réception, la réceptionniste et la barman travaillant en fin d'après-midi et le soir du 21 juillet étaient très sympathiques et professionnelles....j'ai apprécié ce court séjour

Location is excellent, room was also nice but having a see through door to the shower can be kinda awkward if not travelling as couple - can easily be solved with a translucent film over the door. Service was good but luggage is stored in a hallway that anyone can access, which doesn't feel safe. It was put in a closed backroom after I asked, but it would be better if this was standard.

Helpful reception personnel and overall a pleasant stay. Good shower and nice clean rooms. The sleeping couch was not so fine to sleep on but overall good. Breakfast was outstanding. Unfortunately the swimming pool was not included in the room price. Opening hours 8-22 was in my opinion too late to open in the morning.
