Here are my reviews for turi beach resort, as my first time solo travellers. The locals are nice, the location is good too. With welcome drinks once you check in the hotel( which i did not drink as i was busy checking in but looks delicious 🤤). It was good to unwind, to relax your mental health. The staff gave me a nice room which made me more appreciated. The only thing I'm not okay with is there is no lotion in the room which makes me a little bit sad as i expected to have one. But the overall experience is good. I love the place and the staff are friendliness. I also love the sunset and sunrise . Especially at the island bar restaurant.I will definitely come back there
At first, we were impressed by its simple, modern, stylish design and sparkling cleanliness. The room was spacious and had a partial sea view.
However, during our 3D2N stay, the swimming pool remained closed due to strong winds. The weather was nice enough for a swim, so it was quite a misfortune. This should have been stated in their advertisements to let customers know that although the hotel has a pool, it is almost never open.
The location is opposite the mall, but it’s dangerous for families with strollers or young children to cross the road.
Deluxe room is quite a space for a couple. We got our room on level 15 with the city view and it was a treat during NY fireworks! Staffs were friendly and service was prompt. Likely it will be our new place to stay in batam.
All the staff’s very friendly and helpful when I need more water there would be fast to give for us.
But the breakfast can be more improved when next coming.

The staff at reception were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for exploring the city center. Christmas decorations was awesome. Would definitely stay again for the value.
NNelson Soh Toh WeeGreat place to stay, except there's no power switches beside the bed for charging of mobile devices and there's only 1 power switch on the desk surprisingly the power switch is linked to Desk light. So if I off the desk light then I cannot charge my devices. Another power switch is at corner near window.
SSavvytanIt’s our first time and definitely not the last. Everything was great from the buggy in, to the size of the very clean room, to the baby cot that was already provided in the room and room service.
Only thing I’d suggest for improvement is the massage place is too near the restaurant and live bar. There was loud music when we went for our spa retreat and the music dampened the quietness and chill mood we wanted for the spa and massage. I would suggest to move it further away or install sound proofing walls for the tent.
Other than that, quite a perfect stay. We didn’t have enough time to explore the activities centre as it was for kids aged 3 and above.
One last thing, everything is chargeable for rent which I feel certain things could have been provided for less cost or free. Like bicycles to get around the very large lagoon or kick scooters. Their 2/3 wheelers were fully rented out and not cheap to rent too.

GGenaTanI stayed at the hotel from 12 to 15 October and was very pleased with my experience. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with excellent bathroom amenities. The staff were all friendly, courteous, and helpful throughout my stay, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
The only shortcoming was on the first night when I noticed that the bedsheet had some stains. However, the housekeeping team responded promptly and replaced it with a fresh set immediately. I truly appreciate their quick response and professionalism in handling the matter. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and would be happy to return in the future.
ผผู้ใช้ไม่ระบุชื่อThe stay during my visit there is clean, with nice scenery and the staff are always very prompt in replying your queries/messages and they are always very welcoming to greet you whenever they see you around. Some staff took extra initiative to remember which room guest you are from. They will update you daily via WhatsApp in the weather conditions and activities available for the day during your stay there.
It monsoon season now and water activities are on hold sooo we are unlucky not being able to play the water sports. So if you are coming, do plan it wisely.
But the down point during our stay is, if you want to go out of the hotel premise to tourist attractions or even explore local neighbourhood or to local mart. It would be definitely out of question unless you are engaging a vehicle with driver cum guide that can bring you around. Since Grab service is not available in that area as it is out of city area and about an hour journey drive from ferry terminal to the hotel.
And not to say if engaging a driver with car it is by 3-4 or more hours rates. Which can be quite pricey. If couple is traveling only.
Hotel food alone is already very costly. One meal can simply cost $50-$60.
Bintan is still not a very well developed place, I personally felt that they shouldn’t charge so much, but well it’s a 5 star hotel so can’t be blamed too.
But overall, it was a great experience with The Residence Bintan.

While we were happy to secure a room for those dates, we encountered two issues during our stay that we feel should be brought to your attention— in the hope that they can be improved for future guests.
1. Room Consistency & Communication
Due to high demand, the same room type we booked for nights 3 and 4 was no longer available for night 5. As a result, we had to book a different room type for the final night, all paid in advance. When we checked in, we explained to the front desk staff that we would prefer to stay in the same room for all three nights, and we were willing to pay any price difference if necessary. The staff member said they would check and get back to us—but we never heard anything further. Admittedly, we also forgot to follow up. However, we assumed that no news meant we could remain in the same room. The next day at noon, we received a sudden call requesting us to check out immediately, which completely disrupted our day’s plans and led to a rushed and stressful move. We even left some personal items behind in the process. In the future, we would greatly appreciate clearer follow-up from hotel staff—whether or not a room change is possible, please confirm with guests either way rather than leaving the matter unresolved.
2. Villa Room Maintenance
On the last night, we moved to a villa. Unfortunately, during our shower we discovered that the drainage system was severely clogged. Water from the shower area didn’t drain properly, and water even backed up from under the sink and around the toilet. This was not only inconvenient, but honestly quite unpleasant. While your staff did eventually help us resolve the issue, it significantly affected our overall experience and left a negative final impression.
We chose your hotel with high expectations and understand that busy periods can lead to service challenges. But with a bit more proactive communication and better room maintenance, we believe the guest experience can be much improved.
