Location very good with nearby bars and restaurants. In easy walking distance of town centre. Very clean rooms but a little dated and basic. hot water and shower very good. Not a luxury hotel but clean and functional, and would go there again.

There is no better location in Rennes! Hotel is also very new, great rooftop if weather is fine enough you must go there. Also great for a drink or lunch downstairs with terrace.

Отель расположен в центре города - немного далековато до железнодорожного/автобусного вокзалов (абсолютно не критично, мы всегда ходили пешком), но очень близко к историческим достопримечательностям. Внутри очень приятно, персонал - замечательный, есть лифт, камера хранения. Номер небольшой, но вполне приятный, даже чайник был. Были, конечно, неприятности в виде протекающей душевой кабины, но это, считаю, мелочи. Нам тут было вполне комфортно.

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Frühstück stark verbesserungsfähig (keine Abwechslung; Rührei aus der Mikrowelle und geschmacklos; kein Wurstaufschnitt); wir sind aber trotzdem satt geworden.

A carefree holiday in this classic Breton holiday home near the fantastic beach of Mine d'Or de Penestin. The beach, La Mine d'Or, a unique geological location in Europe with its golden sand and ocher and yellow rocks, is only 300 meters removed. The house has an enclosed garden where you can enjoy your meals and family moments or just let your pet be free. One of the bedrooms on the upper floor is a walk-through room, the second bedroom on the upper floor. Have a small toilet room with toilet. Logement relativement propre et bien placé. Très bien équipé et bénéficiant d'un cadre exceptionnel avec beaucoup de service à disposition et d'installations notamment la piscine.
Les employés à l'accueil ont été très aimables et accueillantes, indications très claires. Je n'hésiterais pas à reprendre un logement si l'occasion se présente, je recommande absolument.

Kke11yIt is a perfect holiday to me.
The room was thoroughly cleaned and free of insects. The staff maintained a polite attitude throughout the stay and proactively asked about guest satisfaction during checkout, indicating consistent service standards.
The room setup is minimal, providing only essential items such as a bed, shower towels, and paper cups for water. This configuration is suitable for short stays, particularly for travellers visiting Mont Saint‑Michel.
Breakfast offered a complete basic selection, including bread, eggs, tea, coffee, yogurt, and fruit. Scrambled eggs were refilled regularly, which ensured availability. A fly was observed on the cheese, suggesting that additional attention to food‑area hygiene could further improve the experience.
The taxi service recommended by the hotel performed at a high standard. The driver consistently arrived within minutes, communicated clearly in English, and was reachable via WhatsApp. Assistance with luggage and door service was provided, and pricing was reasonable for the level of service. A few flies were present in the lobby. While this may be difficult to avoid entirely, further mitigation would enhance the overall environment.

ผผู้เข้าพักOn that cold and dark winter evebing, we were gracefully helped by phone by the reception lady in order to reach the hotel located within the pedestrian corner of the city. A beautiful Maison de Maître serves as the Edgar hôtel. Check-in was swift and pleasant, and we had access to an elevator for our humougous suitcases. We entered a beautifully-decorated and warm bedroom, and were nicely advised by our receptionist on which restaurant would be open for dinner (winter Sunday night). Had a resting sleep and a tasty breakfast. Only good things to say, basically.
I want to emphasize here that we had a wheel chair accessible bedroom on the 1st floor (the hotel has 3), which I found interesting. The bathroom was all planned for wheel chair access. In case anyone here needs this type of facility, you can book Edgar hotel!

It is located right in the Old Town. Within just a few minutes' walk, you can reach the city’s best creperies, ice cream shops, and the historic ramparts.
The room features a lovely balcony which was a great surprise. While the elevator is small, it is functional and sufficient for the stay.
The staff at the front desk are exceptionally warm and welcoming. I was even gifted some Easter chocolates, which was such a thoughtful and professional touch.
Considering the location and the quality of the stay, the price is very reasonable and affordable.
I am very satisfied with my choice and would definitely stay here again!

ผผู้เข้าพักOn this 25th and 26th of December, the owner/manager of Le Temps de Vivre welcomed us with open arms and helping hands to carry our heavy luggage. He took the time to tell us about the city, and advise us on dinner venues (on this Holiday). He also booked our 2nd dinner venue and gave us all recommendations to visit. Professional yet warm welcoming. And perfect British English accent, for those of you not French natives!
The hotel itself is a beautiful old granite mansion from downtown, stuck between the historical center and the sea. Our bedroom overlooks the high and low tides, rocked by the waves and wind sound. It is extremely clean and we have ample amount of towels and robes…
Recommended hotel by Winter which would obviously be great in Summer.

ผผู้เข้าพักI booked a room with a terrace, hoping for a beautiful sea view, but I was assigned to the ground floor, so I couldn't see much. I understand that room availability is limited.
The facilities in the room are not very clean, and this four-star hotel seems to require a lot of self-discipline from guests; cleanliness is something that guests need to manage themselves.
Since I usually do a preliminary clean when I check into a hotel, I found that the wet wipes I used to clean the freezer turned brownish in colour, making me completely hesitant to use the freezer.
The living room is spacious, but the shower room is very narrow, although the kitchenette is well-equipped.
Overall, it doesn't feel like a four-star hotel.
