I’ve never had a team this pleasant and genuinely caring. Even in the restaurant, the staff went out of their way to connect with me and make me feel welcome.
The rooms are a bit on the rough side and could use a few updates, but everything was clean and functional. The breakfast is very basic and could be improved, though to be fair — it’s free.
The shuttle service was a lifesaver, and honestly, it’s the people here that make the biggest difference. Their kindness and effort raised my rating higher than it would have been otherwise.
Great location. Nice ambience. It’s very close to my work site, around 2 minute walk with just one block away.

One thing I’d say is the cleaning service, where some of members are not the best at being proactive when I put my sign on.
Everything was good and clean. i really like the room and living area but thing which disappointed me which was water bottle service. They told us we only get 2 bottle water for 1 day each for 2 people. Only 2 water bottle is not enough. Other than that, everything was wonderful
I stayed for three nights and honestly, I couldn’t have picked a better spot. The hotel is right in the centre of everything—restaurants, shops, and even the port are all just a short walk away, which made getting around super easy.
The place itself has this lovely, old-school charm. My room was really quiet and the bed was higher than I’m used to, but surprisingly comfortable, I slept like a log every night. The bathroom was huge, which I definitely appreciated.
Love the breakfast there! Complimentary coffee and tea all day long!
Location is very good as there is public transport right outside of the hotel.
Suitable for families or a weekend gate away as there is a very nice chocolate right outside of the hotel.

LLarryMy experience at the travel Lodge was fantastic the room was big everything I needed was there my original booking was a day later then it should of been but when I arrived the lady at the desk was there to help and got me all fixed up. I highly recommend this hotel the service is excellent the breakfast is fantastic whatever you need is there or at the desk a small shop to pick things up to get you by. I'd say though some spots in the rooms are lacking some matnience however I really enjoyed my stay and I hope to go back again soon.
EErnest KurishI recently stayed at Chateau Bedford, and had a great experience. The location is very convenient, especially if you're coming from the airport. It’s also close to COSTCO and IKEA, which was super handy for some quick shopping. Getting to downtown and the main shopping malls was also easy, making it a great base for exploring the area.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the stay better. The room was very clean, and the facilities were good, offering everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, it's great value for money, and I’d definitely recommend it if you're visiting the area.

*I had loaded my credit card to my wallet on my iPhone & left the physical card @ home.
(I don’t carry a purse, so this was a great option for me).
The motels policy was credit card to use as a damage deposit…NO exceptions 😱
I had offered to use cash, but, was told no 😱😱
It just so happened that I had a credit card tucked away in my glove box or I would have been out of luck…would not have been allowed to check in & would have lost $400 on the room rental.
SO…beware travellers!!
