The host can speak english and very polite and offer tours at reasonable price (cheaper than trip.com or viator). If l booked li jiang river cruise including transportation to the pier for 300 yuan. The hotel also close to guilin railway, therefore easy to take transportation (bus 22 to guilin west). Walkable distance to four lakes, elephant hill. The room was very comfortable. Highly recommended

Amazing hotel. As soon as we check in. We were added to a WeChat and they provided us with a guide with all the information necessary to travel around. Renting scooters service is great to go around. We just had to pay ¥30 for a day. There are a lot of restaurants around or not far from the hotel. The breakfast noodles are very good. A good filling one for just ¥15. The room are exactly as shown on the pictures. Daily cleaning service. The rooftop with the mirror photo opportunity is a really nice experience. The views are nice. Loved my room and the small balcony facing the mountain. The bed was very comfortable. Very welcoming and helpful staff. A hotel I will come back to and recommend.

The hotel is set at the most gorgeous location, views of the mountains, many restaurants nearby. The host (Siau Ming) was super hospitable - he helped us with our bags to the room, had fresh iced Osmanthus sour plum tea for us at arrival and when we were back, he even packed some crossaint/biscuits for us to go. Breakfast was either bread with passion fruit jam & butter or guilin noodles (so good), served with mango and coffee. He was very attentive to our needs. The rooms are as gorgeous as depicted in their pictures. 5 star quality with a homely Chinoiserie design. Laundry was free - we just had to put our laundry in the basket in the morning and it would be ready in the evening. Appreciated in the 38C weather. The stay at Secret Courtyard made Guilin an enjoyable and memorable experience.

Our stay was amazing! The room was spacious, clean and lovely. We had a gorgeous view of mountains from a panoramic window ⛰️ there is everything you need in the room. The food is delicious 🍱 and the breakfast is included! The owner was extremely sweet and helpful! It was our first stay in China and the experience was delightful ❤️ she gave us really good recommendations, helped with any booking we needed and even escorted to the singing cave herself. She literally did everything she could for us ❤️ Also, location is super convenient if you want to go to the singing cave (must see! It’s magical) . It’s about 7 minutes walk! The city centre is 20 minutes away by car 🚘

好多年沒有住過名宿了，因為很多名宿表面看起來很乾凈，邊邊角角很臟😂這個臨時定的既然那麼乾淨，浴室的邊邊角角都是乾淨的，愛乾淨直接沖 最感動的是，車停在景區外面，一開始沒有充電位，店家老闆既然在那裡幫我排隊等充電樁，排到打電話叫我們過去開車充電，這個真的很用心，走的時候也幫忙把行李載到停車的地方 沒有開車朋友也不怕，店鋪就在檢票口，不用託行李，這個也不錯 小朋友家庭適合，因為有一些物件00後小朋友都沒有見過，他們會非常好奇的（固定電話，黑白電視等） 老闆娘和老闆都很健談，從中可以瞭解到更多古鎮的情況。
