These villas were described at the time of our booking as 5 star and luxurious throughout but were far from that in our experience! The following is an extract from the complaint we sent to Jet2 holidays: "The area surrounding the swimming pool had rotting decking with grass growing through it, and this was surrounded by overgrown grass and weeds. The outdoor shower was unusable as this had major health & safety issues being sited over the external air conditioning units. The living and dining areas were far from elegantly furnished, were very tired, and extremely cramped for four adults so goodness knows how 6 adults would have coped with this. The kitchen was very poorly equipped, with insufficient equipment, ill-matching glasses and crockery and, again was the whole areas was tired and years passed it best. One of our major gripes was that our villa (Villa backed onto the restaurant and we therefore had to suffer to noise and smells coming from the kitchen’s extractor fan throughout the day. In addition, the area surrounding the villa was not private (people moving to and from the restaurant and reception had open access to our ‘private’ villa surroundings" We were offered £350 compensation by Jet2 (which in no way compensated for how the accommodation spoiled our holiday) but what was even more disappointing was that there has not been any real acknowledgment from Jet2 that the Villas were substandard, and for that reason we would never book accommodations with them ever again as we wouldn't trust their description and rating! There are some some suites on site, which I understand are considerably newer than the villas, and maybe these attract more favourable comments but our experience of the villa were we first shown to, and the one we subsequently stayed in, were pretty similar to that of 'Restlesstraveller - also Sep 2023' Don't waste your money!
