Echeng Hotel (Xiamen Zhongshan Road kulangsu)

Great location, very near to ZSL walking street but away from the buzziness. Room was big enough and had the necessary amenities. Will come back again when I’m back!

I originally booked just one night for a room with 'no window'. Upon arrival, they gave me a room with a small window but with a wonderful view outside. So I immediately extended my stay to 3 nights. A soaring office tower nearby put on a fantastic lights show every night. The room was very clean and comfortable with all necessary amenities included. Lots of local buses and BRT buses right around the corner with many fascinating shops & eateries. The front desk staff were always very friendly and helpful. I'd like to give my thanks to two particular staff, Ms. Chen Mei 陈梅 & Ms. Lisa Lee Xia 李霞. They both went above and beyond during my stay to help me with many things, from purchasing Gulangyu ferry ticket, to helping me to set up my Alipay, WeChat, and other mundane things that normally would make any new visitor from outside of China crazy upon arrival. They both were very sweet, courteous, professional and efficient. They made my stay in Xiamen very enjoyable and easy to maneuver. The other male staff are also very friendly. Lastly, did I say Echeng Hotel has a robot server? I saw it one night delivering dinner from the ground floor to a room on the 6th floor and then returned to the ground floor lobby by itself. Very cool!

I recently stayed at this hotel, and I mistakenly booked a room with no windows. Despite the lack of a window, I had a surprisingly good night's sleep. The room itself was super clean and a good size, so that was a plus. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay, which made the experience much more enjoyable. The price wasn't too bad either, considering the quality of the room and service. One minor downside is that the hotel's location is a bit misleading. It's actually nearby but not directly at the shopping street, need over ten mins walk. Although not a problem, worth to note if you’re looking at the name of the hotel and assuming it’ll be right in the shopping street. All in all, I had a positive experience, and I would consider booking a room here again in the future.

We had a great stay. Location easy accessible to Zhongshan street & metro station. Front desk is helpful & friendly. Highly recommended.

Stayed for a night, everything is satisfying except breakfast can be improved to cater for international travellers.

Good location. We can explore the place at very short distance. You can walk or get Didi at very low price. The front desk are quite helpful. The 机器人to deliver food is very fun for children.

Good and recommend for business trip, Services is so kind and the reception is fluent in english.
