It was a beautiful area around the hotel and was very convenient to colonial Williamsburg. Maria in the breakfast area was especially helpful to my daughter who needs gluten free food. Great stay!

The Woodlands Hotel and Suites was within walking distance of Colonial Williamsburg and driving distance of other parks we visited.

Great location and beautiful lobby. Quick and easy access to the Visitors Center. One draw for us was that breakfast was included with the cost of the room. Although convenient, the breakfast was mostly prepackaged and the serve-yourself layout was not well-organized. The lobby, hallways, and dining area were always full of young children who seemed to be thoroughly enjoying themselves. I would recommend this hotel for families traveling with children, but I wouldn’t recommend it for adults looking for a relaxing or romantic getaway.

Because cell service is poor in the hotel, having good wifi is important. Your WiFi was spotty and never strong.
First floor room should have privacy sheers on windows so you can open the curtains for light.

Room was not cleaned when we returned from an entire day of enjoyment. Not so fun to come back to a messy room when included in the price.

Mostly good as a hotel experience, but the Wifi was TERRIBLE. This is reason enough not to go. Also, there is a “resort fee” so your breakfast isn’t really free.

We loved the resort it was very festive for the holiday season! The kids had a blast and we couldnt get them to leave the water park. We really enjoyed that you can get there early and use the waterpark even if your room isn’t ready and when you check out you can still use the water park for that day! We did the cabin theme room which was nice and it had a fireplace which made it super cozy.

Our room was small but very comfortable, and accommodated our family of four very well. Everything was clean and in good condition. The only thing that would have made it a bit better, would have been queen beds instead of the doubles, but our stay there was extremely pleasant. The employees that we had contact with at the desk were always very accommodating and kind.

Great location and easy to get to with plenty of parking. Very convenient to walk to the historic area. The lobby was lovely and cozy with the Chris**as tree and fireplace lit and Santa came for a visit in the morning.
