Kobe Suite Resort

We Recently stayed at the Kobe Suites for four night and wow what an amazing stay.  From arrival to departure, we were always greated with smiles. Beatrice the General Manager runs an amazing tight ship. Her team are all so polite, professional and super helpful. I'd like to say a massive thank you to Pauline, Moses, Safari, Simon, Patrick (these are the names I can remember) and ALL the other staff members including pool boys and housekeeping for there amazing hospitality. There are two pools, both lovely and there is no need to throw your towel out at 8am…. There is plenty of space for everyone. We quite liked the rear pool which was virtually empty everyday, howvere our favourite spot was the beds overlooking the beach. Now the food, oh my god, everything on the menu that we ate was amazing, and some of the best curries and pasta dishes we have ever eaten, credit to the chef!  Breakfast is such a simple affair. So chilled with a huge range of products on offer. The chefs are always on hand to make you whatever you want!  Lunch is served close to the beach. Again a very simple affair where shoes are not required…..tables are placed on sand!  Dinner would be in the same place but was moved more in land due to the winds, but again, such a beautiful setting, amazing service and food!  Overall, such a beautiful small boutique hotel that provides exceptional service and a hotel we will return to…. Thank you Beatrice and Kobe!!! 

One of the most beautiful hotels during our stay in Kenya! Stunning location! Very comfortable rooms, ac and water that works perfectly fine! Very friendly staff, highly recommended! Spacious rooms and common areas, delicious breakfast with a wide choice of food.

Me and my mum weren’t guests, but we regularly went to enjoy the day as Kobe is a beautiful hotel located on the best beach of Watamu. You can rent sunbeds for just 1000 scellyngs and also have full breakfast or lunch there! The food is delicious, the staff kind and attentive. Special thanks to the Italian manager, she is very professional and knows how to receive guests. They also have a very nice shop where you can but trendy bags and sandals for very reasonable price.

Their Food is the best in Watamu! We did not stay there but we have tried many Restaurants in Watamu and this one is by far the best! Great relaxed location on the beach. They have Great service, Great dessert too. We Will definitely be back soon.

We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Kobe Suites. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. It is a well-designed hotel on the best stretch of beach in Watamu which is also part of the nature reserve. When we dined in, the food and drink was excellent and moderately priced.

Entering this lovely resort, one feels one stresses melt away immediately. It is just the right of luxury and comfort without being flashy or overly opulent. The gorgeous setting with the exquisite beach at your feet, the perfect temperature swimming pools, great food (the gelato is locally produced and excellent) as well as the professional and polite service made this the perfect weekend getaway. The spa is small but the masseur is excellent as is the setting on the upper level. Two nights was definitely not enough and I hope to go for longer next time.

The most fantastic place to unwind after a work week. Right on the beach, with crystal clear pools (x 2), friendly staff and excellent food, this is highly recommended. The massages are also fantastic and are offered on the top floor with a cool ocean breeze to lull you to sleep. Everything is designed to help you to relax. The beach is excellent for swimming

Amazing Hotel: fantastic service,outstanding cusine,great time! I really enjoyed my time in Kobe hotel Watamu. The service is outstanding, the breakfast is amazing, food at restaurant - which is perfectly managed by an Italian Manager is absolutely fabulous : In the end in 15 days I experienced dining out a few times but the restaurant at Kobe is the best one in Watamu ,way better than any other restaurant experienced outside. I should add that the staff of Kobe hotel really pampered my and my girlfriend: It was a great experience and I can’t wait to be back!!!!

Kobe Suite is a 22 room and 3 Villas Boutique Hotel right at the beautiful sandy beach of Watamu. All rooms are spacious and have Aircon, fridge, and terrasse/balcony. Staff very helpful,friendly and always in a good mood. Benjamin the room steward did a great job and so did the waiters in the restaurant. The female Italian lady at the reception could have been more friendly. Unfortunately the hospitality was missing. The hotel is chilling and relaxing and if the external big groups of Italian families were not inviting the hotel,almost every day it would have been nice and quiet. In my opinion and I heard others to complain as well, it is not good for the reputation of the hotel if many of the sunbeds are rented out to external big groups of Italian who reserved most of the sunbeds already very early in the morning but not turn up before lunchtime. We even were asked to preorder our lunch because o the big groups going for lunch would delay our order. Not a good idea!!! If the hotel guest have to fight for a sunbed... there is something wrong. The management should urgently find a solution for that. This behaviour will scare the hotel guests,who look for peace and quietness away. At the pool there are no proper towels,only hamman sheets and these you can only get with a chip card.(one chip card..one towel. These towels seem to be more valuable than gold as they are kept in a box that is secured with a lock.So dispite the external groups... a really nice and quiet hotel
