Bemyguest - Loft Guest House Jardim das Mães Charming

Great location. Close to transportation and services e.g. restaurants. The stairs to the loft are not user friendly

Staff was very nice and the space was very large for the rate. Loft M was my room. It is well positioned away from the noise of the square during holidays such as Freedom day which occured during my trip. If you are in town during a less busy time one of the views from the front of building 2 might be preferable. I would certainly stay in this accommodation again

The team was exceptional. They were very supportive and pro-active. Addressing all the requests that were made. The location is very central. 3 minute walk to old town. The appartments are well equiped.

Let me start by saying the building and rooms are BEAUTIFUL and unique and feel very trendy. We had a couple of issues that were annoying enough to knock down our rating and enjoyment. 1. Once we made our reservation we began getting emails, a text and a phone call about when we were checking in. We were on our way to the city when we made the reservation and were a couple hours away and we were meeting someone for a visit before getting to Viseu. We did not know how long our visit would be so we could not give them the time we would arrive. Then our friends had us follow them to the hotel so when they called and wanted to know when we would be there we did not know, had to google directions because they wanted to know it would be before 10 pm. We said it would be but they wanted more info. We finally determined we were a few minutes away, it was 8 pm. We felt harassed and uncomfortable. 2. The ad says "in room plunge pool". That is not correct. They have one pool and you reserve and pay to use it. 3. You have to pay for the little things, you want a coffee pod, you have to buy one from the office and the office is not open all hours (closed 10 pm to 10 am). 4. They offered to help us with our bags up the stairs but didn't notice my husband hauling our stuff upstairs to the room (no elevator) until the end of his second trip and there was no need at that point. I wouldn't return personally but it was just irritants to me that may not bug others.

Excellent value for the money. Perfect location near historic area Our room overlook the square. Excellent reception (Anna). She walked us to our room, showed us the Roman walls that were discovered during renovation, recommended festival and restaurant. Updated very large comfortable rooms with modern touch and historic stone wall. Best property we stayed at in Portugal and Sweden!

We’ve stayed in bemyguest to get to know some surroundings of Viseu. While we didn’t take advantage of the supreme location in the city center, we found it easy to park and great to relax in the pool after long days traveling. The staff was particularly friendly and helpful

Excellent lodging! The personnel at reception couldn't be better, even helping with the bags. In the city center with all the best restaurants around.

Historical apartments located in the city center. Easy walking distance to everything. Lovely hosts, super clean rooms, and a lovely pool. The weather here is absolutely perfect. Never too hot or too cold. The apartments have everything you need and it's very quiet.

Extraordinary service from the manager who went above and beyond to help my husband retrieve his I-pad left on a bus. Long story short, the device was found and cheerfully returned the next day. Outstanding!
