Boutique Hotel Albero Nascosto

Our first time visiting Trieste and we loved it. We arrived by train from Udine and found the 20 minute walk along the waterfront to the hotel to be enjoyable. We were warmly welcomed and surprised to find our room #2 to be so spacious. The bed was one of the most comfortable of our 2 weeks of hotels and the shower was wonderful. We absolutely loved the location of the hotel and the nearby street Via di Cavana is filled with cafes and restaurants. There is a nice breakfast with cereals, breads, cheese, meats, lovely fresh fruit, yogurt, juice and coffee made to order. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We loved the books and artwork that decorate all of the lovely spaces.

Beautiful small hotel in Trieste, well-located, lovely rooms, great breakfast, and the warmest, best staff ever. They were helpful, friendly, and fun. We were sorry to say good-bye to them.

We felt so welcome here the minute we walked through the door. We were offered coffee and water while we waited only minutes to be shown our spacious room. The lovely lady offered to carry our bags upstairs, since there is no elevator in the building. The cleaning staff and night desk clerk were just as sweet. We slept very comfortably in our quiet room. Since we couldn't stay for breakfast in the morning, we were offered a variety of fresh fruit and yogurt to take with us. While Trieste itself was too busy for our liking, we can't say enough about how cozy and comfortable we felt at this wonderful place.

This small boutique hotel is a short walk from the main pedestrian zone in Trieste. There is no elevator & the staff attended to our luggage. The hotel owner at one time owned a business selling antiques, and our room and the public spaces reflected his good taste in furniture and objects. The room was modern and properly equipped. The washroom was well equipped, with proper lighting and shower was good. Breakfast was very good, with ample choices. Staff very accommodating. As we were in Trieste during Ferragosto, the hotel made a reservation for us to go to a private bagno on the seaside, which was very good. This hotel is an excellent choice for those who like the scale of a smaller hotel and want to be in the centre of the old town and main streets.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Trieste. A stones throw away from restaurants and bars. As a solo traveler I booked the single room. Good sized room with a small kitchen area with fridge and complimentary coffee making facilities. Breakfast was very good (light continental). Friendly staff with great local knowledge of the area. I definitely will be back.

We have just had a lovely stay at this delightful hotel run by lovely people. Our room (Acero) was comfortable, quiet and very clean. We had a good-sized bed, welcome air-con and a generous supply of teas and coffee. Breakfast was generous, including a great range of artisanal jams and honeys to choose from, and a particularly good yoghurt. The hotel is in a quiet side street but is very well placed for all the key sites in Trieste . We would also recommend the greengrocer across the road for really good fruit. But above all, we cannot speak highly enough of the lovely people who run and work at the hotel. Everyone was very welcoming, kind and helpful. We would not choose to stay anywhere else as and when we return to the city.

What a fabulous place to stay in Trieste. Great location, lovely rooms and charming hosts who were so kind and obliging. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms are so comfortable and tastefully decorated. Great place to stay so close to the centre of Triestes old town

Very nice indeed. Comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff, with a very central location - easy pedestrian access to all parts of the city. If I return to Trieste, I will definitely choose this place again.

We stayed one night because it is in walking distance to opera house. Small boutique family run hotel. Excellent breakfast. The hotel has a couple of parking spots in a car park nearby. Close to main city attractions.
