The check-in experience was lukewarm. The staff member barely spoke 2 words. Typically when you check into a hotel, the staff will inform you of breakfast times, checkout times, WiFi password and ask if you have any questions regarding the area. None of that happened. One of the keys didn’t work on our room and neither of them worked on the exterior side doors for easy access to parking. We tried to call the front desk from our room and the phone didn’t work so we just gave up - it was a short stay. The elevator will open and then start rising, catch itself and jolt the elevator. A little unnerving. As for the room, the 3rd floor smelled muggy and damp. I found a live roach on the floor and another one crawling on the bathroom vanity. There were lots of stains on the carpet and the bathroom hasn’t had a deep clean in a while. There were 2 spots on the bathroom floor that were dried yellow liquids… I think we know what that was. And the shower has mold in the crevices between the shower and tub. Overall, we booked the room for the proximity to the stadium since it’s an easy walk but we won’t be staying here again in the future.
