La chambre était spacieuse et les lits confortables. On a moins aimé les oreillers, trop mous à notre goût. Le débit d'eau dans la douche était insuffisant et malgré mon 1,70m, c'était très difficile de changer le type de jet. The hotel is located in Quebec old city center, it’s very close to the famous castle hotel. It’s a very convenient location. Room is clean and warm during the winter. It is serviced every day as well. We had the room at 4th floor, the top floor, but about 1/3 of the room is less than 1.8m, just like the attic. Despite that, it’s still quite spacious. We only had one complaint that the hotel does not have water drinking machine, you have to buy bottled water outside. Though the front desk told us tap water in Canada is drinkable, but I doubt so from a tap serving both hot and cold water.

The location is so convenient. One can take metrobus800 which connects the city centre, the fall, supermarket Maxi, metro plus. It is a frequent route, easy to travel. The ground floor is still under construction, not so easy to walk. The building is without elevator, it may not be easy for all travellers. According to the description of the rooms, all rooms should be equipped with washer and dryer, however, the room assigned was without any wash and dry, we requested for a change. The person in charge helped change for us. There’s no room cleaning and tidy service throughout the three nights we stay. But everything looks new and clean. They provide sufficient tissues, toilet papers and washing tablets even. The building is close to the traffic, convenient but rather noisy somehow. The air conditioning was locked but lucky that these few days are not extremely hot. But it’s definitely quite hot and it won’t be that comfortable without air conditioning in hot weather.

Nice place to stay, especially if you’re planning to mostly be out and about to explore. The location is perfect. The rooms are basic and not luxurious, but everything you need is there. Having an AC was definitely worth it. There also a common area and an unmanned reception with some kitchen facilities. I had to contact the accommodation for check-in info, but they were very prompt, friendly and helpful. The self-checkin with access codes was easy. There’s no elevator and the rooms are not on ground floor level, I knew this of course, because it’s written in the hotel info. I had a room with a balcony and that was a nice touch. There’s also a patio on the rooftop. It would be nice if they provide some more information about the place. I discovered the patio by just exploring myself. All by all, I had a good stay of 2 nights. I only slept in the place, as I was mostly outdoors.

A male staff member was helpful and very kind when I was lost trying to get to the hotel. I will be forever grateful to him as it was very frustrating! The room was freezing and house keeping never came so I had to ask the front desk for blankets since they gave us dirty ones to begin with. Bed sheets were clean, but blankets were not clean. We did not get blankets because “ they didn’t have extras “. Instead they gave us 3 sets of thin sheets, which did not help against the cold room. I told the staff the room was freezing and they said to turn the heat on. At that point the heat was on full blast for 5 - 6 hours and did not get any warmer. Overall it wasn’t a great experience and will probably not stay there again in the future.
