A resort type hotel in form of brick bungalow in Europe. It comes with a private pier where you could board on a comfortable boat going to Ortigia (the old town) in half an hour. The landscape there looks so gorgeous that anyone who lives in this hotel should miss it. It also has a private beach which can be accessed through a private tunnel which is quite interesting. Overall, a very beautiful resort overlooking the ortigia with very friendly services and 5-star facilities.

I would say it is one of the top hotels in Siracusa, location is about 15min ride from ortigia island but the hotel it self is great private beaches great service, very quiet and spacious. Regretted to only stay one night. Recommended.

Resort is beautiful, gardens excellent, privacy, staff very good!!! Esp the guest services arranged very good activities for us. As extra activities we can really recommend cooking class at area m incl market tour. Also sailing is a great activity to add.

Excellent hotel. Some of the reviews we read left us a little concerned. We need not have worried. The location is beautiful and peaceful. Syracuse is within easy reach / beautiful to look at across the bay - chaotic & busy. However the hotel is a haven of peace & tranquility. The staff are lovely to a person. They are charming and can’t do enough for you. The food in the restaurant very good. The hotel arranged a. Excellent guided day for us in Ortiga. Is it all perfect - of course not. The hotel charges for everything - pricing is high, commensurate with room rate. You’re pretty captive without paying for boat / taxi transfers. We’ll come back and stay again as it’s a gem of a place on a beautiful island with beautiful weather..

Amazing luxury resort in a postcard location We blown away by the place. Our room was overlooking the old town of Siracusa across the bay. The resort offer a ferry service to the old town at additional charge. Had a wonderful afternoon in old Syracuse and then a romantic boat ride back to resort. The meals in restaurant were 5 star and the service impeccable. Be warned that prices are high but worth it when you feel like spoiling yourself. We swam at the sandy beach but predominately we spent our time by the pool. A truely memorable experience.

This hotel is really good. Rooms large, location great and views fantastic. Restaurant and service excellent. They have a boat to go to Ortigia. Decent gym and private beach too. Well worth the money to stay in a true 5 star hotel. Great place to stay in Syracuse region.

Minareto is in an great setting with a nice private beach and great views over to Siracusa. Our room was surprisingly very small but had a good view. Breakfast was OK, nothing special, but the service was slow as was the service in the main restaurant outdoors and I wouldn't rate either place very highly. The staff in the outdoor restaurant seemed to hurry everything and couldn't even be bothered to top up our glasses with the €150 bottle of champagne that we had at dinner - not a 5* service for sure. Whilst Minareto is quiet and relaxed, it is very overpriced for what you get and you even pay for water in your room. Our holiday was OK but not worth the money from our point of view.

Good- Was impressed when arrived, very helpful and friendly staff, quick check in, cannot fault them. Room was very nice, clean and smart as one would expect. We stayed in room 374 Pool is lovely for a swim, big and lots of chairs etc The rocky beech is absolutely beautiful day and ngt took a bottle of wine, relaxed all ngt 👌 Breakfast was really nice, lots of selection everything you would want and need, recommend the granita Bad- location! Is really poor, hotel is in middle of nowhere, it’s about 60 euro round trip to ortega in a taxi,, to the nearest shop There’s a few restaurants, but again no shops, took me an hour to walk to saracusa The hotel charge a fortune for everything knowing there’s no where to get supplies from Be careful you get charged at end of holiday so easy to rack up a heavy bill Booked a boat taxi to ortega through hotel, £25 euro per person, was told getting picked up at 9, when arrived at location received a txt saying a bus is now coming at 10 which was annoying but got free champagne 👌 Overall— enjoyed our stay, beautiful hotel and surroundings just in middle of nowhere. We will not be returning for this reason. If your made of money and just want to sit at pool all day this hotel is for you
