This is a hotel Who charges extra for literally everything. 8 dollars for a bottle of water. 10 dollars a day for internet. They actually have popcorn on the ceiling. Yeah, literally popcorn stucco from the 1980s. The building design is one of the most hideous, ugly buildings I've ever seen For a supposed four star hotel. The front entrance is bleak, boring, full of concrete. It does not resemble a four star hotel in any way. They don't have robots to deliver food to your room, so any delivery gets dropped off randomly in the front lobby where anyone can steal your food. There's no accountability. Even cheap hotels in China have robots to deliver food from the lobby to the room, Securely. The soundproofing and noise isolation is minimal. You will easily hear your neighbors talking, banging on the wall, opening their curtains, and messing around in the closet. Expect to hear at least 3~5 fake-emergency vehicle sirens a day, in the few hours you're in the room, in the morning and evening. The only good thing was the room layout was medium-large. For a typical hotel room, and there's a large desk Against the window for working on. Plus, the location is excellent, being right next to Chinatown for delicious Chinese food, and in the financial district where many businesses are located. The bed is a bit saggy, and needs to be replaced.

Booked the presidential suit and the view was amazing! The room was very spacious and very ambient (which lacks some lighting). I was surprised there was not a microwave, but something to keep in mind. Also there is not a light directly next to the shower. The fridge was small and its shelves were a bit wobbly. Otherwise, it’s worth the price to book and the location was perfect.

The hotel was undergoing large renovations, which they never told us about at the time of booking. The lobby was dusty and noisy due to the construction work. I could feel the building shaking in my room.

I always stay here whenever I’m in San Francisco, absolutely love the location, you can walk to Chinatown, to the ferry building - it’s just so convenient. Love the view of the city from the rooms too

Decent hotel, but the rooms and especially the beds to small, doesn’t even have space for 2 persons in a double bed.

We stayed in a deluxe city view room at Hilton Financial District—beautiful views and a warm welcome! The TV greeted us with a personalized “Welcome Cristopher,” which was a thoughtful touch. Staff were friendly and let us check in early. Great location near Chinatown, with amazing food—thanks to Denmark for recommending House of Nanking! Room was clean and well-priced.

I arrived way before the check-in time and they happened to have an available room. Appreciated being able to check in early without any additional charges. Will definitely stay there if I have the chance to visit San Francisco again!

It’s located at a good strategic location and the lobby of the hotel is quite good. The view from the window is good. Overall, it’s a decent stay.

Located in china town and cleanliness wasn’t really similar to other Hilton hotels I’ve been to. Room sizes are a bit small and the large desk by the window was a bit of a strange layou

Great location (next to Chinatown and financial district) and great view, amenities and services nice too. Neighborhood is pretty safe. Also a nice bookstore just around the corner. Highly recommend!

Excellent location in the financial district and Chinatown. 300m to North Beach and excellent selection of food and wine restaurants.

A very good budget choice inside China Town. Would not request if looking for a lavish and new room.
