We couple arrived to this hotel at Sep.26 this year for two nights, The receptionist found us made double reservation, We both talked with the hotel duty manager, told her it is due to the network payment is not smooth, a double reservation occurred when we booking the hotel three month before. She refused to cancel one of the reservation and was extremely bad attitude and did not give us any other options. Then we talked with hotel headquarters. The result of communication with the hotel headquarters is that it could only obey the hotel's decision and cannot cancel the double booking. And then we just have to accept it. Hoping to exchange the small room for a bigger spare room, also refused. We fill sad and hope the others(you) don’t be tricked by this hotel.
We are regulars at the hotel. It is a joy to stay in a place where the staff treat you like family. Everyone from Reception to cleaning ladies to restaurant waiters are extremely helpful and professional in their work. Thank you to all the staff and we will return in September.
We were happy to use this Continental Hotel. Breakfast were of vatiety selection. Both drinks and foods were unlimited. Hotel was clean, everyday towels were provided, beds were makeover everyday. Location is just 150 meters away from Basilica. Very acciseble to transportations and surrounding stores and restaurants.
This hotel offers the best service ever. The staffs are amazing. Rooms are very clean., location is perfect near the chapel. It’s very calm and easy to find. Food is good also. Restaurant is very clean And staffs are accommodating. Thank you again and again from Gecia formation group tour 2024.
HOTEL MOLTO VICINO AL CENTRO. CLASSICO HOTEL DI LOURDES MEDIA FASCIA DOVE PASSARCI QUALCHE GIORNO. ABBASTANZA PULITO E PERSONALE MOLTO GENTILI. SILENZIOSO E TRANQUILLO. CUCINA BEN ATTREZZATA ANCHE SE NON L'ABBIAMO MAI USATA. LO CONSIGLIO PER IL RAPPORTO QUALITA' PREZZO
We travelled to Lourdes on pilgrimage with HCPT (Hosanna House and Children’s Pilgrimage Trust). Hotel Croix des Bretons was our “home” for the week. We spent 7 nights here over the Easter weekend - the 1st week of the season, and the staff could not have been more prepared. From the warm & friendly welcome, accommodating all of our unusual requests like they were absolutely run of the mill, to the buffet style food which was refreshing and good. Honestly, I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere that Francois, Sabine & the team don’t manage. The hotel itself is really clean, the rooms are comfortable, especially the beds, with extra blankets in the wardrobes if needed. The bathroom was spacious and super clean, ours had a bath with a wall shower. The staff in the restaurant were kind, caring and diligent. I know that if I were to come to Lourdes, by myself outside of the organised pilgrimage, Hotel Croix des Bretons would be the first place I would look to book. Grazie Francois! Arrivederci alla prossima!
We stayed here for 2 nights. The staff are lovely and hard working. The bedroom was comfortable with air conditioning. Very helpful when checking in and out with where to park car/ leaving bags etc. The hotel is close to the grotto and is very handy for returning to during the day if needed. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks to all the staff!
SStay29822864727I travelled to Lourdes with my 3 sisters, one of whom needs mobility assistance, and stayed in the Panorama Hotel. The staff are nice and welcoming, we got lovely rooms on the 4th, 5th and 6th floors, with view of the top of the basilica and as requested, one room had mobility aids in the bathroom and walk in shower. The rooms were very clean, good size and beds very comfortable. We were full board and really enjoyed all our meals there. Loved the buffet style and the desserts were a real treat and we were right next door to a bar too. Great location for getting to the domain and yet very quiet at night. We all really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back.
The hotel reception staff were very welcoming and also multilingual. The rooms were lovely, spacious, modern, clean and we particularly enjoyed the mountain view from the room window. However, the TV was a little small and there was no complementary tea and coffee sachets provided. There is a continental style breakfast offered, but it was slightly disappointing with not much selection and fresh fruit. The location is good and fairly near to the main sanctuary and grotto although there is reasonable distance to town centre, so be prepared to walk a bit and bring sensible footwear. There is also an airport shuttle bus near the hotel at the Paradis bus stop which drops you straight to the airport. We had a good experience on this occasion and will definitely recommend staying especially if you're looking for self-catering residence type accommodation. Thank you Zenitude
MMamabear21329The lady at the reception was absolutely fantastic. She was extremely helpful polite and very accommodating. 10/10. I'm sorry I didn't get her name. But she was just great!!! The rooms are more basic than you could imagine. Bedding was well made and clean. Hygiene was not great elsewhere. Lack of toilet paper etc was not a great start but not a complaint. There was a ”stink” in the bathroom, I discovered it was toilet brush . The pool area was acceptable. The breakfast for €12 was ok, not fantastic. The location was a bit far from the Grotto. We had to get a taxi each night as after a day of walking in the town centre the walk uphill was too much for any if us. The overall facilities are in need of repairs and an option to purchase a box of basic items would have been good, such as coffee butter milk etc.
We are on a train leaving Lourdes and didn’t want to let this review slip by forgotten. We loved it here. The room, the most excellent breakfast, the friendly service and, of course, the price. Located very near the train station, and a short walk to the Grotto. Very convenient! I especially recommend the hotel and the visit to Lourdes to those at the beginning of their Camino walk; a great way to start the journey!
Although the French star system is different to the UK, I would consider it equivalent to a 3 star. My single room had two beds with ensuite and was clean, adequate with tv and tall windows that opened to the Boulevard. The hotel serves b&b and evening meal. Note; the evening meal is a set meal and the choice is for meat-eaters - no fish and certainly not suitable for vegetarians. However, the Le Navarre bistro, just minutes down the road, will suit. The hotel has a well stocked bar and small reception. Cafes are not open early so if you require breakfast prior to 9am I suggest you eat at hotel. From 7am a good cold set breakfast of croissant with butter and jam, small pot of coffee, small jug fresh orange, slices of ham and cheese, french bread and yogurt . (Sets you up for the day) The location is great, especially if you are on pilgrimage - turn left and within five minutes straight walk you are at St Michel's Gate - the entrance to the shrine. Located in the middle of tourist shopping with an ATM is practically opposite the hotel.
