"It was low season when I arrived (early May) so I was the only guests. The new owners don’t speak any English, but check-in and everything went smoothly. Rooms have all the amenities you need and were clean. Hotel is close to all the sights on walking distance including some good restaurants. I didn’t try the restaurant of the hotel itself so can’t say much about that."

"We can say only positive things about our stay in this amazing Inn. First, we were impressed by the hall and common area with heartwarming photos on the walls and picturesque postcards that we received as the present from the hotel owner Chai Chai. We talked a bit about our plans and we were shown to our room. We were so good cared during those 2 days of stay: Chai Chai prepared hot water for me, whenever I needed it, she ordered local milk tea for us to try, it was delicious. Also she has a very nice dog, so kind and playful. Her husband helped us to organise bus tickets back and on the day of our departure Chai Chai drove us to our ride. She also made a nice gift for us - a Tibetan-patterned coasters handmade with the popular ”bean stitching” craft that's currently trending in China. Moreover, accommodations are really cozy and spacious. On the highest floor there is a terrace with many tables and seats and panoramic mountain view. We sat there and enjoyed. We’ll definitely come back and advise this place to our friends. Thank you, Chai Chai and to all your family! You are the best!"

"The hotel is currently getting renovated so every room on our level was getting drilled and sawed and hammered. The room smelled very strongly of sewage. Upon arrival, there was a towel with dried blood/booger hanging in the bathroom. The bathroom didn't have soap so we had to use the shower gel to wash hands. Pros: The older reception lady spoke English. The location is next to the monastery."
