ผผู้เข้าพักWe are really grateful to 索南仁青 (Emilio) for the top notch service rendered to us and appreciative for going the extra mile to help us. My friend was resting in the room and had altitude sickness and he actually quickly informed us as we are out for sight seeing. He even checked with us the following day on his condition even though we have already left the place. He also gave us an introduction of ******* traditional medicine, doing some handmade incense and some gesture gifts to us. We would recommend travellers who are looking for a place to stay, this is the one!

Our experience at this homestay was truly memorable. The hosts were warm, attentive, and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The rooms were spotless, tastefully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed. We especially loved the local touch in the meals — fresh, home-cooked food that reflected the region’s flavour and hospitality.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a stay that combines comfort and cleanliness.

ผผู้เข้าพักOur stay here was lovely, with kind staff. We are Australian and our check-in was easy. However, please note that the name of the hotel name is “Samphel Dhondup Hotel”, and it is located near the southern corner of 腾志路, Tengzhi Road, near the Monastery Ticket Centre and the river. This was confusing upon arrival.
The heated floors were extremely hot, and not able to be turned off. Our room was a sauna, despite being -4°c outside (we had our window open the whole time). Hopefully this can be fixed. Breakfast was small but we were here during the offseason.

OOliver J 1The owners were very friendly and accommodating. They gave us a free upgrade which was very kind of them! The location is in the middle of the Sanke grassland, and 30 minutes away from Xiahe town center, which is great to be out of the city!

The accommodation was exceptionally comfortable, and the level of service truly stood out. The team was consistently attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience, including kindly offering rides to the nearby town. We were thoroughly impressed by their hospitality and would highly recommend Yano Camp to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay.

The hosts went above and beyond to make my visit exceptional. They arranged a private yak butter tea-making class with a local ******* woman, recommended excellent local restaurants, and even gifted me a thoughtful local souvenir.
The room itself was comfortable and equipped with everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The location is ideal for anyone seeking peace and quiet, making it especially well-suited for a restful getaway while visiting the monastery. The tranquil surroundings ensured a great night’s sleep every night.
The hosts also offer convenient transportation to nearby attractions, which made exploring the area effortless. Their hospitality and attention to detail truly set this place apart. I would recommend staying here without hesitation.

ผผู้เข้าพักThe location is quite far from the bus station, and unfortunately as it was peak season no taxi could take us due to the traffic jam - our only option was to walk the 3km with our bags. There are not many restaurants very close by as it is in a very quiet part of the city. However the location is very convenient for visiting the monastery, just a short walk away. The window for the room looks into the internal courtyard, which you need to be conscious of in regards to privacy.

EElsemieke de BoerI really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend staying here. The hotel is right next to the entrance of the monastery and most rooms have a nice view of the lively main street and the mountains behind. The rooms also have built-in heating so the room is not cold during the colder months. The bed is very comfortable. Staff doesn’t always speak English but they are very friendly. The hotel is a little bit outdated, but I think it is one of the best places to stay in Xiahe because of the location and it offers everything you need.
