"The hotel seemed really good on paper and its price made us believe that the place, view/location, and service will be immaculate, but when we arrived we quickly realised how the place isn’t what we expected. Upon arriving, there are hair and dusts on the floor, and even some lashes around the bed area, hence we are quite disappointed with its cleanliness. We were there for 4 nights and the breakfast service was never on time. We wanted the breakfast to come at 10:00 but they came knocking at 8:30 while we were still asleep. We also had to ask for things a lot of times (eg: replenishing water and tissues), as we weren’t given enough everyday. And when we ask for things we had to wait for quite a while and sometimes the staff forget about it as well, which is quite annoying when that happens almost everytime. The room that we got also had a poor design, we had two rooms and the ceiling of the second floor room is really low and you can’t stand up straight (especially for men). And there are some funny barriers in weird places where we kept bumping ourselves. The best part of the hotel would have to be the view and the location, and the fact that we didn’t have to buy water ourselves are the main benefits. But with this price, we definitely expected more. Overall, it is not a really bad stay, as it is true that you will have all you need here, but with this price, we feel we could have had a much better experience and less frustrations if the hotel attend more to the details."

"This is, without a doubt, the worst five-star hotel I've ever stayed in. First off, the volcano view room was absolutely not worth it. It was incredibly difficult to see the volcano, and the window faced a main road. Motorbikes constantly whizzed by, keeping me awake until the early hours. After discussing it with the hotel, they moved me to a cheaper room, which I hoped would be quieter. However, the soundproofing was terrible; I could clearly hear people talking and laughing outside. Then there's the hygiene. There were flies everywhere, the windows had mysterious liquid stains, the menu was sticky, and there were two dead flies on the bathroom window. I seriously wonder if a five-star hotel can't even manage basic cleanliness. The service attitude was good, but I wouldn't recommend this hotel to Chinese travelers. The Trip.com customer service was excellent and helped a lot with communication, but the fact that I didn't get good sleep for two nights and the hotel was dirty is undeniable."

"We were here 3 nights for our honeymoon, but this was overall a disappointing experience. We booked a Junior Suite (sold out, so no upgrade availability). They don't warn you that this room is right by the pool/bar/restaurant (and the room next to us was also like that). Unlike other rooms in the hotel, there's no privacy. But it was quiet, despite that. The Junior Suite had a very dark bathroom and the furniture/amenities all looked old. The pool was never used by the other guests because it was unheated and so ice cold in September. The bar/restaurant staff is rarely there. They really need a bell to bring them around! Often difficult to order food/drinks. The food, however, was very good. But it comes from a restaurant off-site, so there is a wait (if you can even find someone to order food). I would see people show up and see no one at the bar/restaurant, and then walk away. The breakfast was adequate. But it was like playing the lottery to see if you'd get what you actually ordered. The manager/concierge was rather surly and unwelcoming. There are stunning views, and they do provide a welcome bottle of prosecco & lovely snacks. Plus, beatiful and scenic wlaking nearby. However, this did not feel like a luxury hotel. There are many other choices in Imerovigli with incredible views. I recommend staying elsewhere."
