Fergus Style Cala Blanca Suites

A very welcoming hotel. Travelling as a family of 7 kids age 17,14,10 and grandparents. From the reception to the cleaning staff, bar and kitchen and entertainment team they were happy to help in every way. Large selection of foods and snacks each day and great bar choices. Clean and tidy rooms with a good balcony. Entertainment all day if you want it from pool, ping pong, darts, archery ect and good entertainment at night until 11pm then very local to bars, Irish or English and plenty of restaurants along road to beach. I nice walk along down to Santa Ponsa where hire of boats, quads ect and load of trips out if you prefer such as pirate nights, aquarium and shows. Local taxi rank and bus route within a few minutes. Plenty of sunbeds available in sun or shade, extra charge for roof terrace of 20e if you want it for hot tubs and adults only. I would definitely recommend this hotel to families looking for a welcoming get away with clean and basic rooms and local activities. Nothing to complain about and had a great stay.

Let me start by saying that all the staff were quite possibly the friendliest I've ever encountered on any of my holidays! Service always with a smile!! We had no children with us but the entertainment team made a huge effort to make sure the kids that were there had a great time. Hotel inside and out was very clean, light and airy. Our room consisted of a living area with TV, separate room to hang clothes with a safe, bedroom with a large comfy bed and bathroom with bath and shower combined. Outside was a balcony with a bed, table and chairs, all very spacious. The maids did an excellent job of keeping it spotless. The buffet restaurant offers a good selection of the usual all inclusive foods. Plenty of salads, meat cooked on the go, some vegetarian options and desserts and ice cream. I particularly liked the pizza which was freshly made and cooked at lunch and evening meal. Most nights had a different theme so a nice varied selection. I'm veggie and quite fussy and I made it through the week ok lol!! We always found a table and the finished with plates were always promptly taken away. The indoor bar and pool bar both offered a good selection of drinks and I found the beer very drinkable! Pool area is ok. I never went in the pool as it was too cold, it was April so wasn't expecting it to be warm, though plenty of other hardier souls did venture in! There are lots of sunbeds but they are quite crammed in. We was a party of 6 and went down early to secure beds together, like many others, and never had a problem getting one but be prepared to cosy up to your neighbour. There is a pebble cove next to the pool bar which provides a beautiful view to enjoy while sipping on a nice cold drink. Location was fine, a 5 minute walk to 'The Square' where you'll find a good selection of bars, restaurants and supermarkets if you fancy a change of scenery. Overall we had a great time and would return.

This is the 3rd time staying here and I would still recommend this hotel. The staff are friendly, helpful and go out their way to make the children there have a fantastic time. The entertainment team make a amazing effort remembering all the children's names and making them feel special. The hotel is near some local shops, restaurants and bars if you fancy something different and a bus stop 5min away that will take you to Palma if you fancy a day trip. They have a wide selection of food in the buffet. I'm a fussy eater and I never went hungry. The selection was vast and lots of fresh fruit, vegetables and salads as well as a good selection of desserts. I would like to talk about the pool. Its was in April and the water will be cold. It never stopped me getting in and enjoying the pool but you should be realistic in the fact that's the water is colder. If that's an issue, there is access to the sea. Just need some water shoes to access safely. In the summer months the pool is warmer. Already looking at our next stay hopefully later in the year.

Excellent stay again. Our 3rd time at this hotel. Our kid loves it. Staff are wonderful, food is great, always something tasty to eat. Kids entertainment is great, especially the mini discos. Cleanliness and facilities are good. Highly recommend!

Great hotel in a perfect location to walk into the resort. Staff are excellent and friendly. Rooms are a little tired but adequate. Adult only roof terrace is worth the 20 euros per room for the experience. Entertainment was good. Food was lovely. Service in all areas was good. Santa Ponsa is a beautiful holiday location.

went with Jet 2 holidays, all very smooth from start to finish. we had a suite which was perfect, kept very clean and towels changed daily if needed. food varied always something for a fussy eater like me !! if i had to submit a negative it would be no hot drinks available in buffet during lunch or snack time and closest bar did not open till 5pm, so therefore you had to get hot drink from Pool bar and carry it to the buffet, not ideal in my opinion!! Roof top solarium ( adults only) beautiful and although supplied drinks with cups and ice provided and also fruit kebabs there was no beer/wine or in fact any alcoholic drinks which was a shame

Stayed here for a week with family. Staff are excellent and make the hotel I cannot speak highly enough of them all. The entertainment Rob, Goofy and the gang are exceptional with the kids, if they aren’t engaging they will always make an effort to involve them. Disco every evening is brilliant for the kids. Food was good rooms comfy. The pool can be a bit cold but you get used to it and perhaps later on in the year as it warns up it will be fine. Thanks to all at Fergus for keeping us entertained all week. Highly reccomend for a family holiday with kids.

Great children’s entertainer Goofy Great Buffet host Andrie Great deputy manager to resolve issues. What a smile and warmth melted me away :). Pool was good though a little chilly at times. Wish the indoor pool was using warm water ! Great selection of cocktails and drinks. Great selection and variety of food during breakfast, lunch and dinner! Nice room and sun was in our balcony from 8:00Am till 4:00PM and didn’t need a sun bed by the pool lol. Good access to the small beech by the hotel! Albeit a bit rocky ! Loved the stay and we all have put 5Kg each in 7 days :). Really loved it and perfecto for families…

My first review. As a family of 5 with 3 children teenagers we had a fantastic time. Couldn't fault anything from the rooms, to the buffet and reception. The entertainment staff in particular made the holiday, a big shout out to Goofy, Marcus and Zara who looked after us in all activities we tried. New games and old ones and a brilliant trip to the viewpoint up the mountain. Customer service was brilliant from ALL the staff from the bars, buffet, room service, reception and maintenance. We also visited Palma and Magaluf on the bus which was easy to do, as well as taking a costal cruise from the nearby jetty. A brilliant holiday had by all and will look to return soon.
