On arrival at 01.30 hours my family and I 4 adults 2 teenagers the hotel looks amazing but a welcome bottle of water would have been appreciated as there was nothing open at that time in a morning. The rooms were very welcomed with the best fluffy pillows we’ve ever had. Let’s have a coffee but no milk asked reception next morning you have to ring down to reception when you want milk they will fetch you some to your room😳no long life pots. The pool was under a revamp and we was not informed of this prior to our stay can you imagine the disappointment on our kids faces ….we used the beach on the first day not quite set up as expected but there was only the 6 of us… we noticed a sign reading how much you have to pay to use the sun beds and cabanas on the beach are they for real after everything you’ve paid to go to this hotel they then want you to pay for use of the Hotels beach is disgusting to say the least it should defo not be chargeable just a disgusting money making racket very very disappointed Croatia…asked if we could use another pool in one of the other hotels on the complex and the next day was told the manager had said yes so off we went.We obviously have come at the wrong time of yr the beach and hotel pools were virtually empty no brollies no music no atmosphere of a jolly holiday… The breakfast food was sparse and repetitive to say the least and it continued to be so for the duration of the week the evening meal was no better sparse and limited choice no good for kids at all an I’m a vegetarian and the chef did make me something each night after I pointed out at reception about food choices an that was very much appreciated.The entertainment is shocking a Pianist playing the same play list of songs each night it drove us insane an then one night he began to sing the same playlist as well o no 🤦🏼‍♀️ This Ivan hotel is not a family friendly stay more of a conference centre adult only I would not recommend for families at all won’t be returning.Thought it was also non smoking hotel but shock smoking on the terraces outside so where do we sit outside with our children yuk.The drinks are very expensive two wine one sprite two bottle beers two coke 60€

Nice resort, nice staff but don’t think we will visit again, especially with friends. Having been there before, I noticed a big shift in trying to detach from local culture in favour of a generic approach. The best part used to be the old village restaurant where they used to have local food and live “klapa” singers playing lively Croatian music. They stopped that (including playing Croatian music in the cultural ethnic village. it was very underwhelming in atmosphere & food, but still very expensive. What a shame! Also no beach chairs for guests so have to pay extra for something that every resort includes for guests.

This is a beautiful hotel and all the staff are polite and welcoming (apart from the manager who is quite rude) but they have their issues and I want to concentrate on my top three. Cleanliness of the pool area is poor. The beds are never washed down, the floor dirty and a guy at the end of the night with his mop cleans an odd bird droppings. Invest in a hosepipe and sanitiser. Disability access is available throughout the hotel with ramps ect. Until you get to the pool. A lovely area to wheel a chair into the pool directly but a bridge with steps to access it prevents use. A serious design fault. The only steps leading into the pool needs a hand rail so people with limited mobility can steady themselves going in and out. Overpriced and as a result poor value for money. The cost of items on the resort is extremely expensive and this breeds resentment. We pay a lot to stay at the resort so to charge €30 for a double sunlounger is too much, everyone is sat around the pool and the cabana are stood empty because people won’t pay that amount. Such a waste. Drinks costing €2 in a bar were €6 at the hotel. If the hotel orders you a taxi is €28 into the town, if you order an Uber it’s €9 but you have to walk to the main gate to collect it. The hotel won’t allow you to order your own taxi to the door. We worked out quite soon that having an Uber to and from a restaurant in town, having a three course meal with alcohol, was cheaper than eating at the resort. Plus there is much more vibe in the town, there is nothing for adults on the resort to do in an evening. These are the top three things that dampened our holiday, I’ve not covered all the other things. I hope the management considers this review and improves on these areas for future guests.

Beautiful ambience, extremely professional and pleasant staff. The food is delicious. An excellent place for a private vacation as well as for professional holding of congresses.

The hotel is beautiful, we received a wonderful welcome with special service. The receptionists are really nice and very welcoming. The food is very good especially the breakfast with a variety of choices. Recommended for a relaxing holiday.

We had a great time in this hotel. The location is great, Šibenik is only 10 minutes away from the hotel by car, but there is also the option of a taxi transfer. The staff were unbelievable, always smiling and providing a high quality of service, especially Maria, who made sure everything was okay during our entire stay. The resort also has a great entertainment program, every night there was a party for children, but for adults also. It was a vacation to remember, we will definitely be back.

the hotel will use any excuse to charge you extra for everything. The use of irons is not allowed inside the hotel. I had to go to a business meeting and could not iron my suit. they offer an ironing service but you have to pay for it and you have to wait 12 hours. Uber is not allowed to come to your hotel because you have to use their expensive taxi service. The restaurants inside the resort are not that good and very overpriced. you can eat much nicer meals in town for half a price.

The hotel is spacious, clean and modern. We had a sea view room with french balcony, room was big, bed comfy. Food excellent with good variety. Only thing why I didn't give 5* is because room had odour from smoking, although it is forbidden I suppose since there is no classic balcony that smokers smoke close to french balcony but it sticks to the walls and courtains. We didn't ask for different room cause we expect it is an issue in other rooms also. We were here during a heat wave and air con in the room is weak.... Those two are only things that were off. Overall the hotel and lovely and smiling staff is excellent.
