Our new hotel is located in the heart of Reims, a few steps from the Halles du Boulingrin and in front of the Arena Reims. The talented Anna Moussinet took the keys to the hotel and designed the entire space. Ergonomics, modernity, good tips, comfort and esthetics are taken into account. 102 rooms, including family rooms and 6 junior suites, welcome you for your stay in Champagne. 3 meeting rooms, restaurant and bar on the groundfloor and fitness complete the services.

We booked this hotel as it was new and looked really nice and Radisson have a great reputation, we had also booked a table for dinner at 7.30, confirmed by email. Parking is in an adjacent multi storey. When we arrived at 12.30 we were informed room ready at 3.00 which is the norm, however we were told they couldn’t let us eat that night as they had a large group booked and there wasn’t room for us!!! This hotel is in a new build area and not close to the city centre, the staff did not offer us any assistance in finding an alternative for dinner, so we decided we wouldn’t stay as planned, the staff didn’t seem to care we were upset, so we left. I have to point out we weren’t charged for the cancellation which at least was something, but it all felt very unprofessional for a large international company like Radisson.
Choosing to stay at La Caserne Chanzy is choosing a unique experience. Why? Because this hotel offers an unparalleled look at Champagne, both the region and the drink. Legends, curiosities, life underground... a chance to experience the story of Reims through different eyes found only in the margins of official histories. What's more, there's the location, a former fire station, a picturesque piece of local heritage whose spirit can still be felt in the walls. This building is the beating heart of a town where everything happens. An address which brings everyone together. The sense of immersion is immediate, sophisticated, cultural, and culinary in a land of fantasy, the art of living, and memory. Finally, it is a unique point of view looking at one of the world's most beautiful cathedrals. Located just in front, it is perfect for private reflection at a moment's notice, a pleasure for the eyes. A hotel where everything is a surprise to be discovered from the walls to the furniture, from the menu to the spa.

The rooms are quiet and well-equipped, beds are comfortable. In the bathroom the toilet is very low and getting into the bath is quite a challenge - and when you do finally make it you discover that you cannot teach the soap dispenser. which is high up on the wall, a fine position if you want a shower, but otherwise ... On the negative side, although there are tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms, no milk is provided and has to be requested at the bar, which is easier said than done when the bar is busy. The self-service breakfast is excellent, with everything you could possibly want, but I cannot recommend the dinner experience - you are expected to order via an app on the table, so if you don't have a smart phone you have to wait for ages until someone finally brings a menu, and the food, when it arrives, is very average and definitely not served with a smile.
Really lovely bungalows, under the sky. There is no air conditioning, but you don’t need any as the trees and the green keep the environment cool enough. It’s clean and nice. Kettle is provided with usual drink bags. Parking is handy and it’s quiete. I will go back again when around
MMichael MWe stayed one night at The Continental Hotel on our way home from a European road trip. We booked a package which included dinner and a 1/2 bottle of champagne. At dinner we were told we could choose from the 50euro menu but we chose the 30euro menu instead as we preferred the menu options. When we got the bill we saw that they had deducted the difference of 2 x @20euros from the cost of the red wine that we had ordered as well which was unexpected and a pleasant surprise. We also got a discount on the cost of the public car park which is right next to the hotel. All of the staff were very friendly and we would certainly stay again. (The tarte tatin on the 30 euro menu was delicious!)
ผผู้เข้าพักThis hotel is excellent value for money and great for a stop off on our way through France. There is underground and secure on site parking, the rooms are basic but clean. The staff were really polite and friendly. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk into the main centre of town but it’s a pleasant walk by the train station. We would definitely stay again!
CC. GellingsSimple, and practical for a short stay. Quiet surroundings. Parking near the entrance, breakfast in the main building, which was acceptable. Bathroom had a bath and shower in it. The glass to avoid splashing doesn't work, since it is far too small and the bathroom floor gets wet and one risks falling.
In all not a bad hotel for the price charged.
LlowryeppExcellent location - 10 minutes to station & trams, few moments to restaurants, cafes etc. Hotel small but tidy, quirky, clean - art in rooms. Quiet at night, on 4th floor. Breakfasts fine. Staff helpful. Minor issues only - ran out of apricot jam (in France); milk powder in coffee machine had chocolate mixed in - so cafe au lait etc were mocha style. Some reviews are really critical - but try some French, smile, remember the price. Thoroughly recommended for a few days in a very interesting city.
