i stayed here with my partner mid April for a long weekend, and we had a wonderful stay. The hotel is located in a business park type area, but is located only a short drive from the main piazza near the arena (less than 10 mins) On check in we were greeted by a lovely lady, we had just missed the last shuttle into the town for the morning, and she offered to have the shuttle driver drive us down then before the driver headed off for his midday break. We kindly declined as we wanted to freshen up after our flight but it was so welcomed! We took a taxi about an hour later and it was about 12euro. The hotel itself is very quirky, kind of art deco. It was spotless. Breakfast was simple, but effective, and had everything you needed! The shuttle was easy to book, it goes into Verona 6 times a day, 3 in the morning and 3 in the evening, and same returning to the hotel. There is only 7 seats however, so I understand how it could be more difficult to book in busy season, but we were alone on the bus most times in April. The shuttle driver that was working when we were there was a true gentleman. He didn't speak English, but he always greeted up with a smile. Please pass on our thanks! The only criticism I have is the heat i the room. There is no AC. I know Italy has regulations against AC, so this isnt the hotels fault, however you should have fans available for guests. We are from Ireland, and the 25degree temperatures outside was very hot for us. Our room was reading 30+ every day on the thermostat, and the only resolution we got was "open the window". It is not sufficient. My partner felt very ill one evening from the heat in the room. We had to constantly have ice water in the room to help, so keep this in mind if you are not from a hot climate. I would not be visiting in high summer months!
