One star less than 5 stars is just for narrow forest road that leads to the village. Otherwise, place is perfect for nature lovers. In the pristine nature in one of the most beautiful places of Croatia, staying here is privilege whenever you come: from snowy winter to hot summer. Houses are nice, wooden, comfortable and clean. Food is traditional and tasty. Lot of other interesting activities in 10 km range.

Marvellous place, at a stone s throw from the lakes. Charming wooden houses, warm and friendly staff. Very welcoming. Ideal accommodation for families with a number of activities including a petting farm. Very tasty breakfast with plenty of choice. The only downside, the food was slightly on the expensive side. Otherwise, a magical experience!

The cabins were clean and the staff was nice. Sound isolation was a little bad you could hear everything from other rooms but thats ok. The decor was on point and the animals were a very nice addition.

At first glance place looks like a village in the Alps with separate cabins for 8 rooms. Rooms quite noisy with little sound proofing as you can hear next door arguing and creaking coming from upstairs rooms Reception is effectively open air. Small windows so little natural light. Breakfast was a bit of a shambles, they ran out of food quite early and floors not level. Evening meal underwhelming. Room had a kettle but no coffee. Reception wouldn't provide any and referred us to restaurant but we had to pay.

Accommodation is beautiful, wooden traditional houses with very cosy and clean interior. The exterior of the place is gorgeous with small zoo for the kids and playgrounds in wooden as well.... There are a couple of houses for accommodation, all of them in traditional style with touch of luxury... The whole atmosphere of the place is very homely and relaxing and very kind for familly's and coupels as well... In central place there is a restaurant with really good food and drinks also in touch of traditional vs modern... Also this litlle " village" have relax area with spa zone and great massage... The stuff was very pleased, helpfull and pleasant! Hope to come back soon... 💞🥂

The location is excellent (10-minute walk to Entrance 3) and the staff were very accommodating. But the room was very small; and the AC didn't work (and there was no effort to fix it). However the breakfast buffet was 5-star: everything you could imagine, and more. Truly outstanding. If you eat dinner here, order the Peka dinner by 4:00. It's the best thing we had.

Horrible stay! No soundprofing. You could hear everythinng from rooms next to you and above you. We got no sleep beacuse people in the rooms above us kept on talking until late and walking in the room. The dinner in the restaurant was underwhelming and breakfast poor. We would not recommend this place to anybody.

The hotel online looks amazing but unfortunately does not live up to expectation with aircon that does not work, no hot water in the morning, bad smells from bathrooms, broken items in room and dangerous items such as bare electrics and rusty nails sticking out. The manager will say its in a national park and therefore this acceptable, but if this is the case they should make you aware in advance that some items may not work, and at 490 euros a night you would expect at least a safe environment. The kids play area had a sign to say enter at your own risk, not surprising when you see rusty nails and numerous elements that could hurt your child. On top of this a poor front of house service, (excluding the restaurant who were great), where the manager makes excuses and the team just need a little more training, as at times looked and acted a little lost and were ineffective. Overall can see why people are tempted to stay and is a great idea, but needs investment to bring it up to a safe standard, especially with kids, and also a level where things work, is clean and with a service where complaints are not just shrugged off. Very disappointed and would look at other hotels around this location before booking this one.
