Hotel was fine for overnight stay. Room was clean. Bed comfortable. Front desk staff was so friendly and willing to help with any and all needs. With that being said, hotel needs upgrades. Definitely older.

I know there is construction nearby, the entrance road is pretty beat up. Also a more visible entrance sign would be helpful, as we drove past it the the first time. Otherwise it was nice.

Room mix-up at check-in. My room was “given” to another guest. I did not get the type of room booked. They are also undergoing some needed renovation, so currently some room conditions are a little less than excellent, but that should change soon.

The rooms /bathroom are dated and there is no lock box.
The location is a little remote.. meaning you can’t walk from hotel to streets to shop.
Staff were superb.

My room was next to a very noisy air conditioner
The curtain didn’t close, the bath didn’t drain, and the toilet was broken.
Otherwise, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean.

Location is terrible. You have to go through a parking lot and up a little winding road. Worned/ripped carpets in the room. AC works but barely. Hairs all over the bathtub. Wallpaper falling off. Worned out furniture. Staff was friendly. NOT a real Holiday Inn Express...

Customer service, breakfast staff and the breakfast was perfect. *Chefs Kiss*. However the rooms needs major updating and the pool was disgusting. I checked out the day after we checked in (I had secured the room for 4 nights) but I couldn't subject my family to that filth. Please do better. I understand there's new management but the least that could've been done in the interim, while renovation's are being made, is to make sure that the pool was clean. My room I understand was outdated but the room was also not entirely cleaned before our arrival.
