BBea TanWe had a lovely 3-night stay at The Forest Lodge in Baguio! The service was warm and welcoming—special mention to the ever-helpful guards who went above and beyond, assisting us with umbrellas and our bags during the rainy weather. Housekeeping was attentive and made sure all our requests were promptly taken care of, adding to the comfort of our stay.
Our room was clean and cozy, though the TV was a bit small and dated, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Nestled inside the serene Camp John Hay, the location was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing Baguio getaway. Looking forward to coming back!

And as always, cleanliness and friendliness of staff is present that is why we come back. Appreciate that we were allowed to check-in an hour earlier. Thank you!

KKMMCWhile the overall experience was okay, one major issue really stood out — the drainage in our bathroom had a strong, unpleasant odor that came out every time we used it. It was quite noticeable and made the space uncomfortable to use, especially after taking a shower. We tried to air out the bathroom, but the smell would return after a while.
It’s a bit disappointing since the room itself was decent and the staff were polite and accommodating. However, maintenance needs to seriously look into the drainage system because it really affects the overall comfort of the stay. With a little more attention to cleanliness and plumbing, this place could be so much better.

1. Great buffet bfast with a variety of food selections. I like their dried fish, omelette, langgonisa, coffee, breads, fruits. But noticed they did not serve bananas. Staff looks attentive to the needs of guests.
2. Have greats restos and shops nearby. Also near the CJH Conference area.
3. Has ample parking and nice garden plus heated pool.
However this hotel also needs improvement on the following areas:
1. Front desk looks like they are not coordinated. Made separate booking for three nights via Agoda and Trip.com and informed the hotel about this arrangement. However, after our first night, front desk asked us if we are extending our stay. Worst, they deactivated our key cards so we have to go down again to have them activated again which caused some inconvenience.
2. Toilet has a foul odor so called housekeeping who took some time to attend to us. They told us what to do to avoid the foul smell but some unpleasant smell still remained so reported this to the team leader who sent their engineering to check. The hotel staff told us they will return but never did. So problem was not solved.
3. Requested for late checkout since our trip back to Manila was still at 2pm. However, front desk cannot commit and said will require approval. We followed up and got no positive feedback. Called team leader and made complaints about issues 1-3 and had our request accepted.
4. Very difficult to book a taxi or grab and the guards said because of too many guests or tourists. But it’s a pity that such an expensive hotel also has no shuttles service.
We booked this hotel because it’s near the conference area but disappointed because we felt we didn’t get the value and services we were expecting. Anyway, thanks to the great staff.

KKSD31We recently stayed at this hotel, and overall, it was a good experience. The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained, with friendly and helpful staff who made our stay pleasant.
The room was also clean and comfortable, especially the bathroom it was spotless, with no signs of prior use or any foul smells. However, the lack of an exhaust fan meant that any odors stayed trapped inside. Additionally, the room had no windows that could be opened for fresh air circulation. While there was an air conditioner, it still felt like the air wasn’t circulating well.
Breakfast was just okay nothing special. The selection was quite limited, so you’re left with only what’s available. Compared to Elizabeth Hotel, which is more affordable and offers a more appetizing breakfast buffet with a wider variety, this was a bit of a letdown.
As for amenities, the hotel offers a jacuzzi and a heated pool, which is great in theory. However, their location in the middle of a restaurant makes it awkward to use since you’ll likely have an audience while swimming.
We also tried the Japanese restaurant on the mezzanine level. The food was good and affordable, but the sashimi was cut too thick about an inch which made it difficult to eat.
Despite these minor inconveniences, I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional cleanliness. If cleanliness is a top priority for you, this hotel is a great choice!

The entire place has the aesthetics we were looking for—cozy, modern, and very well put together. The mountain view is superb, and the unit itself is super clean and comfy. It also comes with complete utensils and cooking materials, which made meal prep very convenient. We appreciated the small touches like the provided shampoo, conditioner, and free black coffee.
Wi-fi also provided and there is a smart tv.
However, we did encounter a slight issue during check-in. Although check-in starts at 2:00 PM, we arrived at 2:30 PM and still had to wait for an hour. According to the guard, there was no endorsement prepared by the host, which caused the delay. It was a bit of an inconvenience after a long trip from manila with my toddler, but thankfully, everything else about the stay made up for it.
One thing to note is that the place is a bit far from the city center, so we had to take a taxi every time we visited tourist attractions. This might be a downside for travelers who prefer more central accommodations.
Overall, it was a great stay and we would still recommend it—just hoping the check-in process can be smoother next time, and for future guests to consider the location depending on their itinerary.

MMiss_MarieHad a stay here for 2 nights with complementary breakfast and I could say that they serve tasty breakfast and the staff are friendly and accomodating.
I arrived in Baguio very early but since I could check in later in the afternoon so I tried asking the receptionist if I can check-in early. The hotel became full house the night prior to my arrival so early check in was not amenable, however, they offered that I could leave my belongings so that it wont be a toil on me while I roam downtown while waiting for my check-in time.
Toiletries and towels are provided except for bedrooom slippers, which I see as a very slight problem.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay!👌🏻

1. The ceiling fan in the room is functional,
However, the wind is totally not strong enough, so turning it on means not turning it on.
2. No YouTube/Netflix function on TV. Staying other hotels in Baguio which the said functions are available as well. But here no.
3. The hangers in wardrobe are so inconvenient, It can only be hung in the closet and cannot be taken away. Sometime want to hang clothes at the balcony but have no way.
4. Suggest to have USB socket ports at the bed side would be more convenient
5. Seems no individual button could control the light of baloncy. Seems the light is connected to some of the lights in room.
6. Front desk are friendly but can be more professional. Approached to the reception but no one acknowledged. We have to tell them ”check in” proactively
7. Prior arrival, sent the message to hotel for the room inquire, the first they replied, but afterwards, no replied from hotel anymore.
8. Breakfast not much selection. And many staffs at the counter
9. Shower water pressure not strong enough and hot water not hot enough. And no water refill after make up room service.
Even so, base on the hotel location and the mountain view, will consider staying again in the future. Hope the management will review the comments and hopefully will see some improvements by then.
