ผผู้เข้าพักโรงแรมสะดวกมาก อยู่ตรงล็อบบี้สถานีรถไฟ พอลงจากรถไฟแล้วเดินเข้าไปในโถงรอก็เงยหน้าขึ้นมองป้ายโรงแรม (นั่นคือประตูหลังโรงแรม) ล็อบบี้ของโรงแรม แม้จะไม่ค่อยสว่างเท่าไหร่ แต่ดูเผินๆ ก็เป็นอาคารที่มีประวัติศาสตร์ แผนกต้อนรับตรวจสอบเราอย่างสุภาพ เมื่อลิฟต์มาถึงชั้นที่เราพัก เราก็เดินออกจากลิฟต์ไปเห็นเฟอร์นิเจอร์เก่าแก่ บันได และโคมไฟระย้าขนาดใหญ่ มันทำให้เรารู้สึก ”ตะลึง” เล็กน้อย จนเมื่อเราลงไปชั้นล่างเราก็ไม่ได้' ไม่อยากขึ้นลิฟต์อีกแต่เดินลงบันไดก็สวยมาก ทางเข้าหลักของโรงแรมอยู่หัวมุมถนนที่พลุกพล่านทำให้เดินทางไปไหนมาไหนได้สะดวกมาก ห้องพักของโรงแรมกว้างขวาง อุปกรณ์ครบครัน และสะอาด! คุ้มค่าเงินมาก!

AAlibobsThe hotel is in a great place just a few minutes walk from the train station. The hotel is a lovely building and the reception area/bar is bright and welcoming. The staff all seemed very nice and helpful. We had a lovely big room with a massive bed and a wonderful walk in shower. The things that let the room down were the cleanliness (coffee up the wall and skirting board and bits on the bathroom floor) and also the terrible soft poor quality pillows. When I read that the room had a free mini bar I expected more than two cans of water and two tunnocks wafers that were never replenished after the first day! Another big minus for us was that when we had read several descriptions of the hotel they had mentioned lovely Scottish food in the restaurant. We went down on the last night and were told the only food was the food which was on the room service menu (which wasn’t a lot of choice) and it was served in the bar area. The breakfast in the morning was beautiful though with lots of choices of fruit/ cereals/ pastries and then cooked food.

ผผู้เข้าพักFriendly waiter/bar staff in Steven. Beer - very good. Ambience very good. Ate out for dinner. Heating in room very erratic, only works when cars in. So room cold on return. Disabled room, bathroom door opens right out into room and moves fast with no stopper, middle of the night I head butted door on opening it as it swung away. No lasting damage done but a bit dangerous. Partner said bathroom freezing during night.
Breakfast bang average - no traditional Scottish tattie scones, no scrambled egg and fried eggs are white of an uncooked type. Despite asking twice for a flipped fried egg - same white silicone esque rubber circle. Defo not edible. Waiter rude to my partner when asked about replacement. Clearly no frying facilities being used. The milk of which I had a glass of was the wateriest milk and most unpleasant taste - was it Uht? Or powdered with water added? Baked beans and sausages very tasty. No HP or Heinz sauces. Some of bread poor quality. Coffee from a work style urn. Not very modern.
Parking overpriced and car which had been washed prior to arriving was filthy on departure with a brown layer of dirt on it.
I note that website chooses to mention under Historic Sites: Hampden Park and Celtic Park: 4.0mi | 14 min drive
Funny that Ibrox Stadium - with the iconic Main Stand which is closer than the above is not given a mention. Bigotry alive in well in the hotel establishment management.
Won’t be returning or recommending.

ผผู้เข้าพักI really enjoyed my stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central. The hotel’s location is excellent — right in the heart of the city, making it easy to get around on foot or by transport. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made the overall experience very pleasant.
One small area for improvement would be the in-room amenities. It would have been convenient to have items like a luggage scale or even a bathroom scale available, which are often handy for travelers.
Overall, the combination of great location, professional staff, and comfortable facilities makes this a solid choice for a stay in Glasgow.

CCARY2707The hotel and the room is good n the location is kind of convenient but there is no indication for the shortest route there.
Actually the kitchen food there was really good, however, it is not available after 20:00. Therefore, I had to go outside again for food after a long day for sightseeing. Therefore, I suggest the hotel can think about prolonging the kitchen time to let more people enjoy their food.

Old in terms of not being renovated for a while (signs of cracking, defloration, less stylish furnishing etc), and lack of modern facilities, such as lack of mixed warm and cold water tap, no air conditioning, very old TV, etc. The staff varies, some are very friendly and helpful, some are just on their personal calls and let their guest waiting, or no smile for the whole interaction. If you are looking for a basic, value for money, centrally located hotel, this could be a great option.

ผผู้เข้าพักUpon arrival, I was allowed to check in early by 30 minutes which I am thankful for. Upon. Entering, the door can't be open using the card (room 114). A staff needed to unscrew and replace a battery. The shower head can't be regulated to hot, only cold, yet the faucet can be regulated fully, and it can't even be close properly so I called someone to fix it late at night because I didn't want for the tub to overflow, and closing it requires a lot of strength specially for women like me. I told the receptionist (a man) that the room he gave me was giving me a lot of stress, and he seemed annoyed and said, ”whatever ” instead. A group of people with children arrived, and were noisy, and it can all.be heard inside the room. After midnight, since my room was facing the parking lot, a car alarmed ever so loudly for less than 2 minutes and it was a disrupted night. The the room was very clean but the amenities are bad which made my experience a nightmare. The breakfast served was a delight. The staff were very welcoming except for the man who checked me in.
