ชอบโรงแรมนี้มาก บริการดีมาก พนักงานใจดี อบอุ่น และช่วยเหลือดี ระหว่างที่เราพัก 5 คืน ห้องเล็กแต่น่ารัก อย่างเดียวคือหลังคาค่อนข้างต่ําเพราะเราอยู่บนชั้น 1 ทําเลที่ตั้งสะดวกมากซึ่งเร่งการเยี่ยมชมของเราในปารีส!

I had a double room. It was very clean and calm, with a large bathroom. The rooms' decoration is certainly dated and basic but it is functional. The person at the reception the day I left was extremely helpful. The hotel is very conveniently located: about 100m from Gare Saint Lazare (and the metro) and very close to shops and large department stores in a very lively neighbourhood. I would happily stay there again. Great value for money.

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! The large round mirror was supposed to light up with a touch switch but, we never got it to work. I had the delight of returning to stay here twice in one month last year, both before and after a visit to Morocco. It truly felt like coming home. Pierre, Bridgitte and their entire staff remembered me from previous visits and seemed as delighted to see me as I was to be there! Having actually stayed in more than one Ritz Carlton, I can truly say that my treatment here is just as good - if not better! I'm always given a lovely room, the beds are very comfortable, the offered breakfast is enough to fuel you for a full day of museums and shopping, and the location couldn't be better. The family atmosphere is contagious - they always made time to greet me, ask me about my day, and offer recommendations and suggestions if I needed any. Everyone here makes me feel at home, each time I return: this is my happy place and I look forward to returning again this year. To my family at the Hotel Eden Montmarte: merci beaucoup, mes ami!
