Walking in the door to the sound of a voice calling out "Cheri is that you?" set the tone for what proved to be a most pleasant stay. Brenda has put her heart and soul into this BnB and it shows in every way. Breakfast was a full, delicious buffet, the room was so comfortable I was asleep in minutes, and the menagerie of critters is a real treat. Brenda makes everyone feel comfortable and genuinely cares about ensuring they have a terrific experience. I'd return to Iowa just to stay here... don't need any other reason.

We have stayed at So Dear To My Heart for multiple nights, on three separate occasions. The house and property are charming, and with Brenda's personal touch, it truly feels like home. Brenda is an attentive host who makes sure the guests are comfortable and feel welcome. The breakfasts are fantastic, and Brenda remembered my husband's favorite foods, and served them on our repeat visits. We highly recommend!

It was a perfect place for us to stay overnight. Brenda was extremely accommodating, kind, and interesting. The rooms are all spotless and attractive. The breakfast was wonderful - "homemade" and individualized. The internet was perfect. The rooms, of various sizes, are all on the second floor with no elevator which may be inconvenient for some. This is a place where people return and Brenda becomes "like family."

You can not find better BB anywhere /// Brenda the owner is incredible and to me every thing was the bests /// There are very cute tiny kitties out side that children would love to play with and she waits on you hand and foot to please every one . Brenda was an excellent hostess. The breakfasts were superb. The location was convenient to other places we were going to visit while staying at the B&B. Brenda recommended a place to go for dinner and that food was great and the location only a short drive away. We really enjoyed the animals Brenda has.
