Absolutely amazing stay at the Cubic hotel for our honeymoon. As this was a brand new hotel we were a bit nervous about booking but it did not disappoint. The hotel is situated on Ornos beach with a view across the bay from most rooms. We stayed in the Suite which was right at the top and we were kindly upgraded as it was our honeymoon. The staff also left a beautiful bunch of flowers and sparkling wine which was a lovely gesture. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming, especially the team at reception, and would do anything to make you comfortable during your stay. The rooms are contemporary and look exactly like the images. They have luxury, soft fluffy bath towels, light dressing gowns and flip flops to use during your stay. The toiletries provided smelled beautiful so if you are visiting there is no need to pack shampoo, conditioner or body wash. Some days we would even have a little treat in our room after our day at the beach (fresh fruits or greek sweet treats). Breakfast could either be delivered to your room (which we did for the week) or you can have it on the terrace just at reception. There were loads to choose from and a nice selection of pastries and a delicious lemon cake. You can get the local bus to Mykonos town and the bus stop is just a short 5 minute walk away with tickets are only €1.80pp. Overall we had the best stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, adults only retreat in Mykonos.

We loved our stay in this hotel! The staff were amazing. Special mention to Joseph the driver, alway happy, informative, a real asset to the hotel. Claudia In concierge was also superb, thank you. Pool staff very attentive as were restaurant staff. Hotel amenities were great although I would not call our bedroom 5 star, bathroom rather tired and in need of upgrade. Pool restaurant was good as was the main dining room, although I felt it was rather overpriced for what you got. One bug bear was if you ask for a single glass of red wine in the restaurant it arrives COLD! That’s a complete no no. Please do something about that. I know it’s minor but nothing worse than cold red wine! Thank you for our relaxing break. We loved it at St John. All in all a lovely hotel and I would not hesitate to come back.

I turned 30 at this hotel and it was perfect. Irena was my wife and I's first point of contact and we became quick friends on a first name basis. She remembered fine details about our stay including my birthday, our room number and coordinated dinner reservations, transportation etc. - she also remembered my birthday and sent fruit and Greek wine to my room. The place secluded from the epicenter of the island that is Mykonos Town (it is surrounded by small villages on mountainous terrain) but it has a magical quality that brings out the best in people. Angelos, the bartender is talented and engaging, we too became fast friends. Lastly i'd like to mention the Imperial Spa and the earth angel, Artemis. I was gifted a massage and facial on my birthday and Artemis gave me one of the best massages I have ever had. She was so grounded and connected, I was a brand new baby bird when I walked out. You should not stay here if you dislike soft Mediterranean air with a wide open sea view, twinkling cliff-sides, incredible food/drinks, huge bathtubs, verandas, giant pools with ocean views and very kind/accommodating staff. The shuttle trips and mini bar items are charged at the end of your stay and they will only take euro cash. They do not put incidentals on a credit card! Not very convenient. The front desk was not friendly or welcoming at all. They also charge you for every drink of water you take. I ordered a margarita pizza at the restaurant and got a cheese pizza. Disappointed to say the least. Breakfast was marginal and could have been better. The only person at the hotel who was friendly was the cute waitress, “Maria” and the cute man that insisted on helping us with every piece of luggage. The rooms are dated and small. The bathroom situation needs and update and beds are marginal. I would not stay there again!
