Amazing experience at Shanyu Art Garden Homestay. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a nature getaway from the city. - The accommodation is a masterclass in interior design, where every corner is meticulously curated to ensure the perfect backdrop for all your photos & enjoyment. - Breakfast is well balanced and freshly prepared everyday. - The 民宿 is located near the attraction spots, where one can take a leisurely stroll to discover the history and nature of Guling. - The service staff are helpful and warm, always willing to assist & give advice on nearby attractions and food. Thank you for the amazing time!!! - Bonus: there’s a cat living in the accommodation and is super friendly Only feedback: sweep/ vacuum the floor more thoroughly as there’s some dust bunnies in certain corners of the room. Other than this, everything else is perfect.

🌊 A Fantastic Coastal Getaway with Top-Notch Service! I highly recommend everyone to stay here and relax for at least a night or two. The hotel has a genuinely cool atmosphere, and the absolute highlight of our stay was the incredible staff. The service here is simply on another level—they are so attentive, welcoming, and ready to help with a smile! The Vibe & A Few Quirks 😹 To be completely honest and a bit playful, the property is a little ”tired” and shows some wear and tear. The strong sea breeze has left its mark with some rust here and there. If I were the manager, I’d definitely grab a bucket of fresh paint and give the place a little makeover! Also, every now and then, you might catch a faint, mysterious scent that sits somewhere between ”stale water” and ”did a confident local stray cat just mark its territory here?” 🐈⬛ But honestly, you just laugh it off. It doesn't ruin the vibe and just becomes a funny part of the coastal experience. Amenities & Dining ☕️ The hotel has some really lovely spaces to unwind. There is a cozy library where you can relax, a great kids' area which is super convenient for families, and a nice bar for the evenings. As for the breakfast, the buffet selection isn't huge, but don't let that disappoint you—everything they serve is fresh, high-quality, and genuinely delicious! Bottom Line: Despite a few minor cosmetic quirks, it’s a wonderful place with a great soul. Embrace the coastal character, enjoy the amazing hospitality, and have a great time! We booked the tree house and it was a wonderful experience. The treehouse facilities are modern with air conditioner and hot water, very comfortable. The entire resort is tastefully designed, surround by an amazing mountain and forest view. The hot spring and swimming pool has a fantastic mountain view as a backdrop and very Instagrammable. The service is tiptop with a team of concierge on call via WeChat to handle your every request and question. The food was very delicious and fresh. We signed up for the free sound therapy course and it was a very soothing and relaxing experience. The trainers were very helpful and friendly. The course was conducted in Mandarin though, I am not sure if they can conduct it in English. I am well travelled and have been to many fine resorts around the world, but this counts as one of the most enjoyable and pampering experience I have had.

This is a very nice hotel, the room is bright and spacious, the bed is comfortable, so I can have a good sleep. The warm service of the staff makes us feel very warm. The hotel also offers an extensive breakfast buffet and various leisure facilities to make me feel relaxed.

Space Pod Capsule (white UFO shaped) rooms are not available. I was clickbaited with the picture shown on Trip.com app.  The check-in counter said that the capsule room we booked isn’t ready yet, so they gave us an upgraded room, which is turned out as a normal square (apartment vibe) boring room. (Check my pictures) Boo-yah! When i explore the area, i found the space pod capsules in a restricted area & don't think they're operating them anymore (just as the glass slides). Stand-outs:  + the Receptionist & concierge are very friendly & english spoken! + the Hotsprings are tremendous, 50 ponds in total of outdoor & indoor ponds. (consider to start visiting by the time it’s opened which is from 2:30 PM until sunset around 6PM). Then continue to dine at the restaurant afterwards. We took ab 4,5hours to finish all the 50 ponds lol. This is like a (man-made not natural) Hotspring Wonderland! + kids-friendly which is smoke free & we required to wear swimsuit (unlike japanese onsen which req us to be totally naked).

這次入住真的被前台的小怡狠狠圈粉了，必須認真寫一段好評！從進門那一刻起就感受到特別温暖，小怡待人特別親切隨和，完全沒有生疏感，説話温柔有耐心，笑容特別治癒。辦理入住流程快速高效，每一步都講解得清清楚楚，會主動提醒注意事項、周邊吃飯出行的地方，考慮得特別周到。期間有不懂的問題，不管多瑣碎，小怡都一一細心解答，態度始終熱情友好，服務特別專業貼心。人長得大方好看，氣質温柔，讓人看着就舒心放鬆。全程體驗感拉滿，賓至如歸，沒有一點距離感，能遇到這麼好的前台工作人員真的很幸運，強烈推薦，下次再來一定優先選擇這裏！

首先呢，謝謝酒店給我升級了海景房，酒店外觀很大氣，但裏面像公寓改的，洗澡是燒水的那種電熱水器，提示間隔20分鐘洗，怕熱水不夠大概，台盆處無熱水，樓下就是定海灣沙灘，沙子很細，比象山的細多了，酒店基本沒什麼服務，餐廳值得吐槽，小童加早餐49，1.5米以下哦，這個早餐最多值5塊錢，很拉垮，酒店送的就不説什麼了，49塊錢小童，必須吐槽，像私人承包的一塊，圖沒拍，反正不值，不如自己帶個麪包
