Cleanliness at top tier. Nearby sungai melaka & other tourist attraction. Eateries also nearby. Hotel staff so friendly & informative. Definitely will come again in future

Room was very basic without much amenities. Hotel is just right behind a mosque. No convenience stores nearby hotel - nearest will need to walk Jonker Street. Saw 3 mosquitoes in the room. Toilet constantly has a sewage smell. But hotel has free parking for guests.

Clean, quiet and walking distance to cool places including great food. Walk to Makan Avenue for lunch, dinner. Breakfast, Brunch or lunch at Malaiqa by Gula Cakery. Walk to Jonker street, fatimah coconut stall & many colourful trishaws. Morning, walk along the river, ride a scooter to Stadhuys area.

I recently stayed at Cara Hulu Hotel, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. First, I should mention that the name can be a bit confusing, as it’s listed as Capital O 90756 Cara Hulu Hotel on some platforms, but it’s simply Cara Hulu Hotel on Google Maps and Waze. Keep that in mind when navigating to the property. The room was spacious and clean, making it a comfortable stay. This hotel is particularly ideal for Muslim travelers, as it’s located near Masjid Kampung Hulu, the oldest mosque in Melaka. If you’re looking for a staycation with a spiritual vibe, this place is perfect. Subuh prayers at the mosque were an especially serene and uplifting experience, and it’s just a short walk from the hotel. The hotel also has a pantry on the ground floor, equipped with a fridge, microwave, and facilities for making hot drinks, which is a thoughtful touch. During our check-out, we had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Ridzuan, who was incredibly kind and helpful, leaving a lasting positive impression. Overall, Cara Hulu Hotel is a great choice, especially if you’re looking for a peaceful, faith-friendly environment in the heart of Melaka. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
