Fantastic service! Knowledgeable and caring staff. Also liked the authentic decor. The interior is full of character. The location is superb. Ideal for travelers who want to see as much as possible in a short period of time.

A beautiful hotel in a perfect location with exceedingly friendly and helpful staff. A very short walk from the top of the rice terraces and the views as well as a great starting point for long walks. The staff were wonderful throughout the stay, even though it was a very busy time (Chinese new year), they went out of their way for anything that I needed. The breakfast was amazing every day and the food ordered at the hotel was perfect. Completely recommend staying here for anyone who is in the area.

We had a bad start as there was no one to check us in despite arriving at 3:00pm, but they apologized and made it up to us. The lady who runs the place and her two dogs were very friendly. Really bad weather in Ping’an village (Nov 13-14), luckily the room was beautiful and comfortable. It was pity we couldn’t enjoy the views from our balcony because of the fog. The bathroom was a highlight, better than the ones we had in 4* hotels all over China. One thing we did notice is that there was no table inside the room as the pictures had you believe. We did have a table in the balcony, but not inside the room, so we couldn’t use it as it was really really cold outside. The internet was fine, could do some work from my room. **On a side note, if you plan to get here from Guilin using public transportation you should think twice. We took the bus from Qintan station to Longshen at 10:00am and ended up arriving at the hotel until 3:00pm as we didn’t catch the connecting bus to Ping’An. The bus also makes a lot stops so it’s not time efficient. It was cheap though, and people at both stations were super friendly and eager to lead us to the right bus.

This is a wonderful peaceful place. Very beautifel traditional design, very friendly hosts. The location is close to a viewing plazform and all sorts of walking routes can be taken from there. The son of the owner offered to communicate via WeChat with me and organized a transfer to my next destination. Pick up was equally easy. Local food is offered at the restaurant. I thought the rice cooked in a bamboo log was particularly nice. You can also order coffee with your traditional noodle soup in the morning. The owner also gave me local green tea which I prepared on the balcony and drank while enjoying the beautiful view. Thank you for everything, I had a great time.

We had a lovely stay. The rooms were beautifully designed and intricately decorated. The view was spectacular and we could have relaxed on the balcony for ages enjoying it as the clouds rolled in and out. It was easy to reach, within the Ping’an village zone, but up on the hill so it’s accessed by shuttle (you can show your booking reference for a discounted rate). The hotel is located a five minute walk from the “Nine Dragons and Five Tigers” viewpoint area. From there you can take well paved paths across the upper terraces over to the “Seven Stars and Moon” viewpoint. Plenty of stunning views and a fairly easy/flat walk. There are also paths to go down into Ping’an village proper, though we did not choose to take them on this visit. The family who runs the hotel are friendly and helpful. We had dinner there the night we stayed and it was very tasty. Breakfast was rice noodle soup, egg, and bread. We highly recommend this stay!

The location is really great to spend your time in Longji. After not even a 5-minute walk from the hotel, you are already at the first main viewing platform "Nine Dragons and five tigers". The scenery is breathtaking and totally worth a visit. The hosts were amazing and helpful. Although there was a language barrier they took good care of us all throughout our stay. They informed us in advance about the arrival options and helped us to go back to Guilin by arranging a driver. Furthermore, the food was delicious and also give the mijiu (rice wine) a try. We are students in China and if we ever have the chance to come back, we will definitely stay here again!
