"All perfect best place. Large room great decoration with modern items. The views are magnificent and you will have your own terraces just in front of you. From the beginning the manager and staff have had a great communication and they make arrangements to have the best driver/guide ever. She was perfect and teach and sows us a lot of things and is the perfect driver."

"We loved our stay at this hotel! The staff was really friendly and helpful and our room was nice and clean. We also ate dinner and drank rice wine and the hotel and everything was really delicious. In the end we also got a free ride back to the bus station in Dazhai - so we highly recommend this place. Next time we will definitely come back!"

"The location of this hotel is second to none. We enjoy a 270 degree view of the beautiful scenery from our room. Hotel front counter staff are extremely helpful. 小潘 particularly gave us helpful advice on many aspects including how to navigate to some of the scenery view points. She also helped us to arrange return trip land transport between Guilin and the hotel. Additionally, her cute puppy 波波 has added to our delightful experience staying here. The gift given by the hotel when we check out and the free coffee provided during our stay are much appreciated. An improvement needed is about the bathtub drainage stopper which was malfunctioning."

"Nice cosy hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Love the big black dog named 黑黑, very docile and cuddly. Nice cooking too, we took all our meals at the hotel. 刘叔, the chef-cum-driver also makes the tea leave served at the hotel. We trailed the tea aroma to see how he prepared and dried the tea leaves. A pleasant touch to this wonderful stay. The surrounding offers nice walking trails. We walked into an off-the-beaten-track trail as directed by the local and it took us through harvested padi fields waiting for the next planting season. It was quite an experience, we figure if we got stuck, people around or in the cable cars should not miss two lost souls in the padi fields!"

"The homestay is perfectly located, just a short walk from the main Rice Terraces observation decks. The room was brand new and had an amazing view over the terraces. The owner cooked for us and the food was delicious. We had both lunch and dinner there and loved every dish. The service was excellent, everyone was super kind and helpful. They arranged our transfers from Yangshuo and to Fenghuang at very competitive prices. When we got lost during an excursion, the owner even drove out to pick us up for free, which we really appreciated. The only minor issue was housekeeping. The area is generally very humid, and we noticed some mold traces on the floor and carpet that made the room feel less clean. With the humidity here, a bit more frequent cleaning would help keep the rooms spotless. I’d still absolutely recommend this homestay. The location, view, food, and service more than make up for it!"

If you have travelled in China at this price point, you will know that hotels can be sorted largely into two categories: “I can’t believe that this awful place is this expensive,” and “I can’t believe that this nice of a hotel is this cheap.” This hotel fits squarely in the latter: it is exceedingly clean; the staff are very friendly; the food is good (you can have lunch or dinner here in addition to the complementary breakfast); and it is well located relative to the central village and various lookout points (it also has a nice view itself, either from its balconies, or eastwards along a small stone path through the terraces). If you are looking for a great place to stay while relaxing in Longji, look no further!"
