My husband and I booked this hotel for our first time in Atlanta. We wanted a hotel that was near a bunch of attractions while we were visiting a friend. I had no issues with this hotel except for the fact that when we asked for additional coffee cups and condiments for our room they kept telling us they ran out and couldn't help us. The coffee is supposed to be complimentary, but they kept telling us they would send someone to give us cups but no one ever showed up. Other than that, the room was cozy, nice and perfect for what we wanted. This was my fault, but I ended up picking a twin and we barely fit on the bed, but it was still comfortable.
The hotel itself is located about 15 minutes away from the Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca Cola and The Centennial Olympic Park. Highly recommend this hotel if you plan on seeing any of these or the stadium. Plenty of food nearby too!
Clean and spacious hotel, plus my room had two big bottles of water for free! However you’d have to pay $59.90(tax inclusive) for overnight parking which is too pricey if you ask me. Also, room services was at my door at 8am to ask the time I’ll be leaving whilst check out starts at 11am (hotel needs to check that). Overall, I loved my stay!
ผผู้เข้าพักThe restaurants and food was amazing! The service was good. The hotel is isolated from safe shopping and entertainment in midtown. If there is no event at the stadium or GWCC, and/or the pool isn't an option, there is little to nothing to do during the stay, i.e., live music or jazz at the bar/lounge, or some form of conservative entertainment passtime. In short, the hotel is too great to be so boring. Unless you hate money enough to blow $250-1000 on a massage, there is literally nothing going on there. Just a disappointing reality for such an elite hotel in a prime downtown local. But if you stay, be absolutely sure to take advantage of the food... it is unbelievably great!
EemanI recently stayed at the Courtland Grand Hotel during a conference in Atlanta. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of downtown, with easy access to major venues and public transportation. The lobby is spacious and has a classic charm, and the staff at the front desk were friendly and accommodating during check-in.
However, there were a few areas where the experience fell short. The room was clean but felt dated, and the room lights are not enough to light up the room. Housekeeping was inconsistent—some days everything was well-stocked, while on others, they will clean room while you are inside. The elevators also seemed slow, especially during peak hours.
Destination fee failed to collect upon check-in. I received a letter on the door of the unit and you cannot enter the room without paying on it.
Need to ask for the complimentary bottle water, never been provided upon check-in also the same for the dental kit.
Overall, it’s a decent choice if you’re attending an event nearby and looking for a central location, but there’s room for improvement in amenities and room updates.
ผผู้เข้าพักOne room Rm#511 did have TV service. Also, the bathroom non on the sink was very loose water was getting everywhere. However, I was then moved to rm#509. Moreover, despite of that a house keeper by the name of Jay was a tremendous help and host. If I ever come there again, I desire to see him.
IImranThis hotel was exceptionally difficult to locate. Furthermore, they do not provide complimentary parking; the paid lot is also situated far from the hotel building.
I encountered significant issues with their payment system. They do not accept cash for parking, and during check-in, my credit card was charged a deposit with the assurance of a refund within 24 hours of checkout. It has now been 72 hours since I departed, and the refund has not been processed. My attempts to resolve this via email have been ignored, as I have received no response.
