Through MAKEMYTRIP i booked, initially was little worried as it was service apartment and I am coming with family. But, the stay was pleasant, rooms were looking very nice and clean. One of the most affordable service apartment i have come accross. Staffs were so polite and treated with utmost respect. Definitely I would recommend for my friends and also will try to book for all my upcoming trips to Chennai.
The lobby ambience was pleasant with ample spaces. We have given a great hospitality upon our arrival and check in. I did enjoy the roof top bar as well as bar by lobby. The food was pleasant with mostly are Indian food. Pastries and few other western foods are also well prepared. Am sure will stay here in my next visit.
I noticed that the 3 different departments operate independently I.e the luggage , the Spa and restaurant.
If all can talk to each other with discounts to customers, will promote customers satisfaction
One young guy from reception , Ravi as signed in my laundry invoice , was not committed to providing satisfactory customer service.
Room was allocated basis if you are a single occupant or a couple.
Room allocated from 05-07 Jan was satisfactory, however room allocated for my 09-12 Jan stay was not proper as I had a few problems with respect to aircon , light controls and also the entrance door to the bathroom.
I hope these problems can be addressed for my next stay
My recent stay at Taj Club House was quite disappointing. The service was slow and lacked warmth — the overall atmosphere felt more like a funeral parlour than a hotel. No one greeted or acknowledged us throughout the stay, and there was a clear absence of hospitality.
The phone in our room wasn’t working, so every small request required multiple follow-ups. The Wi-Fi connection was poor the entire time. Although I requested to speak with the duty manager, there was no meaningful response.
On a positive note, Imran Khan at the reception was polite and efficient during check-in. Breakfast was decent, but the staff seemed rushed and distracted, focusing more on tasks than on guests.
Overall, it was an underwhelming experience that fell short of the standards expected from the Taj brand.
Great hotel and super friendly staffs. Good location. The only downside for foreigner is, we need to specially request for power adapter/extension if we didn't bring one as the power socket in the room is India version (Type D)
Stayed at Courtyard by Marriott, Chennai and had a really good experience. The hotel is clean, cozy, and the breakfast spread was amazing! Big shoutout to the staff especially Rohit and Avantika super friendly and helpful throughout. Loved the overall vibe.
ผผู้เข้าพักWe stayed at Trident for 2 nights. They added an extra bed for our child, so the room was very comfortable. Rooms are solid, there are some flaws, and they are not new, but the hotel is excellent, and the service is extraordinary. Breakfast is a must, don't skip it as it is wonderful.
JJason AndrasBreakfast is top-notch—you will not find a better one in the area. The hotel's restaurants are also some of the best around. The rooms are spacious and clean. I've traveled to various hotels around the world in my life, and I was very impressed with the ITS Grand Chola. This was my second time staying here, and I plan to come again.
ผผู้เข้าพักAn unforgettable stay with amazing cuisine and rooftop entertainment, Novotel on Chamiers Rd is a must see.
• 8 min walk to Nandanam Metro 🚉
• Koox Japanese Rooftop Bar 🍸
• Food Exchange Buffet Restaurant
• 10min drive to T-Nagar shopping district
Stayed for 10 nights over the Independence Day weekend in August, and was very impressed by the hospitality and service of every staff member from the front of house to the room service, who did not hesitate to accommodate my every request.
Koox Rooftop bar located at the terrace is a premier dining experience for any Japanese or Thai cuisine aficionados, the evening vibes had us coming back for more.
A special mention to the Food Exchange Buffet Restaurant on the 1st Floor, Chef de Partie Amit and Restaurant Manager Nisarg went above and beyond to cater for every request at breakfast, lunch and dinner.
A massive thank you to all the staff who made our stay special:
Reception Staff - Lucky
Front of House - Krishna
Gym Staff - Thiru 💪
Room Service - Santhosh
And thank you to Mr Amit Gera, GM who kindly welcomed me to the Independence Day Flag Raising ceremony at the front of the Novotel. Glad I could be there for the special occasion. 🇮🇳
WwannaHotel looks lovely and on the surface seems like a high quality hotel. But the service was seriously shambolic. They didn't provide hand towels in the room, we had to ask several times for them before they finally appeared. The breakfast was bizarre - noone manning the coffee station but you weren't allowed to serve yourself (it was just a push button machine). No decaffeinated tea or coffee. It took ages to receive the love station food even though the breakfast room wasn't even 1/4 full as we were very early. They agreed to book us a taxi but on reconfirmation they had no record of it, so they tried to persuade us to instead use the hotel charter vehicle for 4x the price! It's a shame, for the price we expected better service and less chaos.
PPANCHALExcellent Stay, Great Location and Value for Money
I had one of the best stays at this hotel in Chennai. I stayed for 3 nights and it truly felt like a luxury experience at a reasonable price. The location is a major advantage centrally placed and easily accessible to many parts of the city.
The rooms are spacious, the bed linen was clean, and the bathroom was well maintained with proper toiletries provided. They also supply water bottles and there’s a water dispenser (water can) available in the hallway, which is a nice touch.
They offer a complimentary breakfast buffet with a wide variety of options. However the breakfast closes a bit early at 10 AM so plan accordingly. Car parking is available, which is convenient and the staff were polite and helpful, A special mention to the security personnel and room service staff for their hospitality. Outside food is allowed as well, which is a plus.
The only minor inconvenience was that the lift always stopped at the first floor (reception) by default, which was slightly annoying.
Also FYI, I misplaced my room key card and had to pay ₹200 for a replacement.
Overall, it was a great experience and I’d definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting Chennai.
ผผู้เข้าพักLocation, good, amenities, average, rooms, cleanliness, bath etc, good, coffee shop only for breakfast, average, the quality, spread, and taste need improvement, no lunch or dinner possible or available. However for the price you get value.
VValentine56My wife and I stayed there for 3-days in mid July, overall stay was good and pleasant and we take this opportunity to thank Mr Ramar (Manager @ Cilantro) who was not only polite and professional, he went the extra mile to help us out in a complex situation that arose on our 1st day.
A well deserved PAT for Mr Ramar in exhibiting his professionalism
But I cant say the same for the Travel Manager Mr Balaji who vehemently refused and not even seeking any other avenues or alternatives to assist us, totally
no empathy shown at all bearing the fact that we being tourists cant access to all your facilities
This we consider a major setback as its reflects horrid customer service
