Super cute hotel, only minutes away from the beach. Quiet place slightly further out from the busy bars but close enough to walk. Lovely staff really chatty and helpful. Offered places to go and visit. We would highly recommend it and Would be more than happy to go back again
On arrival it was busy but the very lovely lady on reception was super polite and efficient. She explained parking/permit and good streets to find a spot. The bar staff were also very attentive. I did ask for a quiet room as my previous stay in Brighton on the seafront was very noisy. I was assured it was a fabulous room and quiet on the corner of the building. Unfortunately there was a manhole cover on the seafront road needing attention and every time a vehicle hit the middle it was like going over a cattle grid.
I mentioned this to a very defensive young man in the morning who really didn't show any concern and said there was not alot he could do apart from notify the council. When I suggested there was plenty he could do by putting me in another room/or more importantly my point was for future guests again he showed little empathy. I also had problems re-entering the hotel late the previous evening as I was told I had too much to drink after being out to an event locally with friends!! When I said I was a resident and all I wanted to do was go to bed a manager had to be called. The doorman chewing gum and smirking the whole time. All very unnecessary.
Friendly staff at hotel, comfortable bed. We were missing remote for tv but when asked they found one for us, tv very small, bathroom door broken , lampshade missing on wall and headboard in not great condition (room 15), furniture damaged (dressing table) plug in air freshener empty. Cleaner topped up on our sugar when asked and gave fresh towels , clean cups and glasses. There were some stains on the bedding , our bedding was not changed over our 3 night stay . Shower door had mould on the bottom of the glass door . Cant fault the staff or the bed or the location ad walking distance to see front and to the centre
Had a really great experience at The Charm Hotel. We booked the ”King Suite with View” which had an amazing scenic view, especially in the morning with the cool breeze. The environment and room is not only conducive, but is both spacious and clean. Highly recommend travellers who are looking for a safe hotel as my friend and I (both females) felt rather comfortable staying in this hotel. Only advise would be to pack light as there is no lift and we had to climb 2 stories up. Otherwise, everything is close to perfect.
SSarthak BStayed overnight. Loved the stay, and location.
The rooms are very well suited for a longer stay. Will definitely recommend the place and also stay at the property if and when I want a longer break.
ผผู้เข้าพักI really enjoyed my stay and the hotel was in very good location , hotel was lovely and the massive selling point is the pool and spa , excellent facilities and friendly staff
Only downside was the breakfast didn’t provide many vegan or allergen friendly items and that the heating wasn’t very regulated and felt a little ill front being too overheated in the room and no ventilation
That being said I like love to come back as it’s so close to the sea. The view was amazing xxx
ผผู้เข้าพักThe room was modern and clean and the staff were friendly but the best bit about this hotel is the location - on the seafront and close to shops bars and restaurants.
The spa area was a bit disappointing, it’s more a leisure centre and very busy when we visited so don’t expect too much relaxation as there are not even loungers to sit/lie on.
We didn’t eat breakfast in the hotel as there are many great restaurants in Brighton so I cannot comment on the brekkie.
We attended the NYE dinner/dance at the hotel and it was brilliant! Great entertainment, lovely food - a fabulous time had by all and a lovely way to see in 2026!
Brighton in general is a lovely place to visit, lots of bars, restaurants and shops - especially the Lanes which is full of small independents which are just fab!
There’s lots to do and see! We took a short walk from the hotel to the i360 tower. A great way to see Brighton from the sky and we managed to catch it at sunset - so magical! I would definitely recommend!
ผผู้ใช้ไม่ระบุชื่อIt was a decent stay and at off peak for £80 on a Saturday it’s not too bad. It’s a nice area of town and near to everything whilst still being quiet. The key code system as helpful asyou could come and go at any time and no check in process was needed.
The room was a reasonable size but the bathroom was very small and tight. The room gad basic creature comforts like soap, small shower gel/shampoo pots and hot drinks facilities.
The overall cleanliness was fine but the extractor fan in the bathroom was very dusty and the shower could’ve been cleaner with some hairs in it. The bed and key hygiene elements were clean though. The floors were quite thin so you could hear neighbours at times and the room could’ve done with a blackout blind really.
If it was cheap to stay again I’d consider here, but I wouldn’t pay more than I did given the overall experience as some basics were overlooked as mentioned. Hopefully the feedback is constructive.
ผผู้เข้าพักVery friendly staff. Will do anything to make your stay comfortable. Bar open long hour. Was able to
Seat outside and have drink before bed. And take drinks ink upstairs to room. Breakfast was perfect coffee teas brought to serve at your table. Cooked full breakfast. The staff when for extras for couldn’t do more than enough to help.
ผผู้เข้าพักWe had a very pleasant stay at the Holiday Inn Brighton. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy, and housekeeping refreshed it every day, which we really appreciated. The service was outstanding — the staff genuinely make an effort to ensure their guests are comfortable and well looked after.
We had a small request regarding the kettle in our room, as the original one had a bit of limescale build-up. The front desk handled the issue immediately and even went above and beyond by providing a brand-new kettle. This level of responsiveness really impressed us.
The only minor downside is that our room was connected to the neighbouring room through a shared internal door. Although it was locked on both sides, the sound insulation was not as strong.
Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would gladly return. Friendly service and great comfort!
Llann94High hopes but this feel quite short in a number of ways. From the photos the room looked lovely and this did match up. However it did become apparent that aesthetics have been prioritised over other aspects. The pub/club opposite was still incredibly noisy at 2am (on a Tuesday) with the windows doing nothing to muffle the noise. There was fast food rubbish found next to one of the beds from a previous occupant, and this was quite a large wrapper that would have been difficult to miss during cleaning. Communication around bed preference was not good at all, I had specifically asked for a king (and have the evidence of this in my booking details) yet on arrival twin beds were set up. When I raised this with the company, there was no offer of rectifying this, instead I was told more than once that this had been the request. To add insult to injury, our neighbours in the room next door invited some friends to their room and it seemed they were having their own party at 3am with shouting, giggling and loud music and more than 5 in the one room. We knocked on the door in the end to request some quiet as, with the club outside, we were completely surrounded by noise. One small plus point that, once we managed to get to sleep, the bed (albeit the twin I hadn’t requested) was very comfortable.
