Good:
Great location, and facilities, easy to park, checkin is fast and easy, well thought out and lots of activites to keep you busy.
You get a discount to ride up to the summit
the tree walk was fun!
Bad:
poor ventliation inside the rooms
cant even open a window

We are in our eighth season at Rocks and we couldn't be happier and more satisfied. Our room had a wonderful view and as our season coincided with the Laax Open we had the privilege of watching an incredible show! I recommend it for all families, from children to teenagers. There is the option of reaching the mountain's restaurants by gondola, as well as hiking through the forest. When my children were babies, I managed to have lunch on the mountain with the whole family together. Unforgettable moments

We opted for the "hotel service" with our apartment, which included towels, daily cleaning, ski locker, and breakfast. It was worth it to us. The kitchen was well equipped for our meal prep. The only downside was the size of the bedrooms and nightstands, as they are a bit small and the second room with two beds could use a lamp relocation. It appears the wall lights were installed with a single centered bed in mind, so when there are two beds, the lights are in the way of your head (see photos) and you might just knock into them. Otherwise, this was an excellent choice... great apartment, great location, great breakfast, and an included locker for your skis that was located slopeside (no lugging your equipment). It also had underground parking and easy walking to the lifts and restaurants.

First ski holiday with my family. 3 kids 9, 7 and 5. They all loved the experience and the location and facilities of Rocks resort hotel made it this way. The staff were amazing. Very helpful and friendly. The apartment to the lockers to the gondola was all within 5 mins. Very easy to check in and check out. Plenty of ski gear to rent. The ski school was the best decision we made all week. We put the 3 kids in 9.45 to 3.15 and included lunch. This allowed us parents to enjoy our trip too and the kids thrived. I went up the mountain with them in last day and down the blues. The slopes were good too. I will definitely be back and will stay again in the rocks resort.

The location of Rocksresort is fantastic and wat a great resort it is. Ski in ski out. The private heated ski and skiboots lockers in the basement ski room are wel situated next to ski escalator to the ski piste. The restaurants and bars are hip and fun. Also the supermarket and bakery in the resort is very convenient, We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment with our 4 adult children. Good quality, minimalistic, but high end, large enough for one week. The overall concept of the resort will give you one of the best experiences you can find in the Alps.

This was our seventh year in a row at the Rocks Resort. to our surprise we were greeted by a team of grumpy people with an arrogant attitude. Our room was not ready, in addition to being the worst room in the resort, an award we earn for being loyal customers. Very sad to see this value in a hotel that meant so much to our family.

During my yearly visits to Switzerland since 2004.. i think rock resort is an great example of what an perfect family resort can provide. Huge verity of restaurants and lots and lots of activities for the little one.. highly recommended for families.. the rooms are simply perfect and specious.

The rocks resort gets credit for offering covid testing (hence the 2 stars) but the actual process is a complete shambles and should be avoided at all costs. There is a booking system to ‘save time’ But if you book an appointment the walk-ins and appointment holders wait in the same queue. There is one person working, who though very nice, can’t deal with the amount of people We are now waiting in a line to get tested having waited over an hour at 3pm and being told to come back at 7pm (again, with appointment slots, not as walk-ins) The queue is now made up of a number of guests with appointments who are both frustrated that this is taking so long and also can’t understand why appointment slots for 6pm are still not honoured at 7:30pm (as per the couple in front of us, who are also on attempt number 2)
