We certainly expected a better room for the money we paid and for the Fern brand that we opted to stay in. Room size was okish but it needed cleaning and changing of linens. We were told that due to a marriage party recently held there, things may not be as good as it usually are! Our misfortune? Mr. Rahul, Supervisor, came to our rescue and got the cleaning and changing done, he was one bright spot in otherwise poor service setup, staff and et. all. He also, however, could not do any good to the bad smell originating from the washbasin area... Morning breakfast was just so-so, nothing tasty or worth mentioning. In addition, the restaurant boys and girls' staff were speaking loudly to each other and to the chef, letting the brand impression go for a toss, as if they cared! No, no, Fern not again.
