"Booked this hotel for the free drop off to the airport for my red eye flight. The room was pretty small and it was slightly awkward to have the sink as part of the room instead of the bathroom. I also didn't like that they were usually reusable hotel slippers instead of disposable ones - it didn't feel very hygienic to use them but the room is carpeted.
A cosy room for transiting if you're okay with having a very small space. I didn't had very good impression of the reception staffs, they just aren't as welcoming and friendly as my other stays."
"I stayed at Appleton Boutique Hotel Cebu for one night during a layover. The location is very convenient for this, as it is close to Mactan-Cebu International Airport, and the price is reasonable, making it a decent option for a short stay. Rooms are generally clean and check-in is quick. However, the hotel is only suitable as a one-night transit stay. Reviews often mention poor soundproofing (you can hear the street, hallway, and neighbors), very small room size, unstable Wi-Fi, and aging furniture and bathrooms. Guests also report weak water pressure and inconsistent hot water. The surrounding area has limited infrastructure, so it’s not suitable for a longer stay."
"The place is nice as expected but has a minimal timeline on the pool usage, it only opens from 7am to 7pm. That's one thing. Standout: their staff are really nice, very considerate. The father of my children visited us beyond the allowable time (i was not informed of their rules though) they're supposed to charge us for an additional fee but when I explained they did not hassle and understand the situation. So kudos to the front desk personnel whose wit is beyond measure. Overall our stay was a great 5 ⭐, because of this complex scenario. Thanks Crown Regency 😁"
