"We arrived very late at night for our cruise the following day, so this was a perfect location for us. The hotel is situated inside Miami international airport so you don’t even have to travel anywhere. The only thing we found was that there were no sign posts, we had to keep stopping people to ask where it was, we walked for around 10 mins and after asking around 3/4 people we eventually found it. It is round a corner behind a Mexican restaurant and basically just what looks like an information desk. The staff were very helpful and even upgraded our room free of charge from a double to a king room. We got into the lift and found our room on the 4th floor, the corridors could do with some updating and looked a bit like walking through a prison. Our room was at the end of a corridor. It was very clean and tidy and a lot nicer than I expected. There was a coffee maker and some biscuits under the dressing table and plenty of hanging space and a steamer in the wardrobe. The bathroom was clean with hand wash and body lotion and shower gel. The bed was very confortable and after our late arrival we just went straight to sleep. We woke the next morning, had a quick coffee and booked an Uber to the cruise port. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a short stay before a cruise or flight"

"Stayed there for two nights. The hotel is five minutes away from the Airport, there is a Restaurant and bar attached to the Hotel and Mc Donald across the parking lot. There is also a few restaurants just about 10 minutes walk and a IHOP five minutes walk The rooms was very clean and spacious. Staff very professional and knowledgeable. There is a huge mall, called Dolphin Mall just 15 minutes away by Uber costing about $10/15 dollars. Pool was larger than expected and the Gym was a bit small but effective. I fully recommend this Hotel, it’s quite reasonable and FREE SHUTTLE to and from Airport"

"This location is unbeatable, especially to access the beach or volleyball courts. I was impressed by how clean and well kept the showers, bathrooms, sinks were. I wish there were a few more linens (e.g. personal fitted sheet), but it was great to get towels included. EXTREMELY friendly and helpful staff—they made my trip much smoother and helped me avoid hassle. Overall, really happy with my experience. Downsides that the staff can’t help: you’re sharing a room with dozens of people, some of which will snore and disrupt your sleep. Make sure you have earplugs or properly prepare to sleep with loud snoring sounds or people talking at times."

"This hotel was a great stay. Staff was helpful and friendly upon arrival and departure. There are some issues with the door key cards. We had to get them reprogrammed several times to get in the room, but it was just a technical difficulty of the key -- if it touches any magnet, such as phone or credit cards, it would lose he ability to unlock the door. The rooms were fairly clean and pleasant. I would definitely recommend this stay for solo or couple travelers with it's ambiance. There is a Mexican bar at entrance and taco restaurant next door (Abuela's) that as a guest you get 15% off. Also free happy hour cocktails 5-6pm. Great vibes, would definitely stay again if I travel to Miami Beach!"

"Decent Stay, but Lacking the Hilton Touch We arrived in Miami around 7 PM and headed straight to check-in. The lady at reception greeted us with minimal hospitality—no smile, no warmth—just a routine check-in. While she did her job efficiently, a simple welcoming gesture would have made a difference, especially at a Hilton, where a bit of warmth is generally expected. Our room was underwhelming—fairly compact for two adults and two 13-year olds with four pieces of luggage, making the space feel cramped. The biggest disappointment was the lingering smell of smoke in what was supposed to be a non-smoking room. Exhausted after a 14-hour flight, we opted not to complain and just settled in for the night. On the plus side, the location is convenient, with plenty of nearby attractions and dining options. The area gives off an old-money, relaxed vibe, which we appreciated. We stayed for two nights before our cruise to the Caribbean, and while the experience wasn’t terrible, it didn’t leave a lasting impression. Would I stay here again? Probably not—not because it was a bad experience, but because I’d prefer to explore other hotels that might offer better value for the price and better hospitality. PS. We didn't use cleaning service as we were only staying for 2 nights. But the cleaning lady, slightly older and only speak Spanish, was just the sweetest, and offer us extra bottle of waters."

"We stayed at a motel in Homestead, Florida, near the Everglades, and had a pleasant experience. The check-in was super friendly. The room furniture was a bit old, but everything was very clean so it really wasn’t an issue. Everything we needed was there, and everything worked just fine. The breakfast the next morning was excellent, with a variety of options: waffles, sausages and eggs, cereals, coffee, and more. For the price we paid, we were really satisfied and would happily stay here again!"

"The hotel is decent, and the staff is friendly, but my room was very dated. I hate when the bathroom light and exhaust fan are the same switch and the fan is loud. I tend to write decent review, for $125 I expected better. The biggest disappointment was the hotel shuttle. I bioked this hotel partly bcuz it was near the airport AND had a hotel shuttle. I had to call 4 times and finally a shuttle came and picked me up after I waited 2 hours. I had to run into the street to flag him down bcuz he was driving in the far left lane. He even said had I not flagged him down he would've kept going. Plz fix the shuttle fiasco"

Ccm2024As people who travel regularly, we place a lot of emphasis on other reviews when booking. I was rather concerned reading previous reviews of this property, but having stayed at multiple other Ritz Carlton’s (Singapore, Koh Samui, Dalllas, Melbourne etc) we hoped the brand would live up to expectations and great experiences at other properties. IT DID NOT! Strongly suggest avoiding this property at all costs. Look at the low ranked reviews, they all make sense to me after staying. This property has us questioning if we would ever stay with this brand again. Amazing isn’t it, how one property can tarnish a brands reputation. We have been overcharged after checkout after settling the bill when leaving (unresolved at this point but will get to that later). The first room we checked into had air conditioning so loud you could not hear the TV. It was also dirty with marks and dust/grime on every surface and excess dog hair on the floor. I went to the front desk and the best they could do was “send someone up to check the A/C. The property was practically empty. This was not good enough! I was fortunate enough to speak with the GM who remedied the room situation immediately. We then dealt with Daniel (who was on loan from Santa Barbara Ritz Carlton) he was a great reflection on the brand. He upgraded us, which was appreciated but not expected, just a room with a reasonable a/c would have been fine. Rooms are very average, worn and not clean. Linen was stained, towels so old some had tears and holes in them. The majority of the staff seemed like they would rather be anywhere else than at the Ritz Carlton South, can’t say I blame them but really let the place down. When dining they would bring the bill before we had finished dining over and over, at times even advising their break was about to start so needed to provide bill, how about you get another staff member to do this… Upon checkout I paid with an alternate card than I used for the security deposit (to avoid international transaction fees). I settled the bill of approx $450usd and away we went. A few days later, a charge of $390usd (approx) appears on my original card used for security deposit (along with an international transaction fee). This charge is absolute rubbish and was not warranted, everything was settled and paid on check out. I rang and rang and rang all day to the hotel and the phone was never answered. Finally I had to call and international call centre where the wind noise in the background was so loud I could hardly hear. I was then told the extra was for bar charges (not ours!) we had one whisky and a coke at the bar which was on my bill at checkout. I was then told they would try to contact hotel and hopefully in up to 2 weeks they would respond to the call centre, and sometime after to me. This from Ritz Carlton? Disgraceful. We then got lucky and got the US call centre. This was much more helpful and the agent advised the hotel would call back the same day. Still no call back from Hotel, no explanation of why my card was charged… no invoice, no receipts. Now I need to go through the process of disputing the transaction with my bank. Really? The old saying one bad apple spoils the cart, couldn’t be more true of the Ritz Carlton South Beach. There were many other disappointing things that happened during the stay that isn’t even worth going into. Such an epic disappointment from this brand. I am hoping this property reaches out as promised but it holding my breath. Do better Ritz Carlton South Beach! Not wanting to end on such a sour note. Daniel (from RC Santa Barbara) was a standout for guest service as was Noela at the Valet, both embody what guest expect from RC.

We have stay at this hotel, the Fontainebleau, or one of the 2 Kimptons for 5 years and always had a great experience at this hotel until this trip. It started at check in The guy at the desk “Carlos” was rude from the beginning. He was a smart aleck about everything. It was my wife’s birthday trip and it was definitely not the way we wanted to start it. Our room was hot and we didn’t have enough towels. We had dinner reservations and were going to see Andrea Bocelli. When we got back the room was still hot but we were exhausted from the day so we went to sleep. At 6:0am it was so hot it woke us up. My wife went to the front desk and a very nice Eloisa was there and helped my wife and they sent someone to look at it after 5 minutes it was working. I asked what was wrong and he said “it had a bubble in it” but acted like he couldn’t speak any more English. The thermostat was on cool and set 60° but the room never got below 74° at 6:00am. When my wife went to ask for a Double Tree Cookie she was told they were no longer a double tree hotel. This is one of the main reasons we stayed there and it has definitely changed. When we got there The Miami Dolphins were playing in Miami and every TV in the awesome bar area was off and I asked “Carlos” if they could turn the game on and was told it was under renovation but there was no sign of construction and if it was it had nothing to do with the tvs in the lobby. The entire vibe here is not what it was the last time we stayed here. This is a great location and one of the only hotels that still has a hot tub “but it only works half of the time”. He was also a **** about the pool towel card policy and said if I didn’t return the nasty reused card I would be charged $25 per card just to get a towel by the pool. If you do decide to stay there and there is a 20 something Spanish guy at the desk come back later for the sake of your peace on vacation.

LLiyingLindaIt is very convenient to stay this hotel as the train, metro, Greyhound Flixbus, all around it, only 4minuts walking from Hotel to the above points, the restaurant has served very good meals, the breakfast is also good. We will stay at this hotel in the Future again.

CChalsey LBoulan South Beach – Honest Review I recently stayed at Boulan South Beach and overall had a great experience, with a few minor drawbacks. Positives: The location is fantastic—just one block from the beach and in a very walkable area surrounded by great restaurants and bars. The hotel itself offers solid amenities, including a small but relaxing rooftop pool with a bar. One of the highlights of my stay was dining at Orange Blossom, the on-site restaurant. The food was excellent, and I’d highly recommend checking it out even if you’re not staying at the hotel. The rooms are well-appointed, apartment-style suites that feel spacious and thoughtfully designed. I also appreciated how quiet the rooms were—perfect for getting a good night’s sleep after a day out. Negatives: That said, I was disappointed by the bed. The listing advertised a pillow-top mattress, but the bed was far from comfortable and fell short of our expectations. Also, for a room that otherwise felt luxurious, the lack of bathrobes was a small detail that would’ve really rounded out a luxurious experience. Additionally, while the room was clean, some of the design choices were lovely but weren’t the most practical for a hotel setting. The cloth-upholstered bed frame, while stylish, showed some staining—fabric furniture can be hard to keep looking fresh in a high-turnover “fun” environment. Similarly, the jute rug added visual texture but proves to be difficult to clean and showed signs of wear. Final Thoughts: Boulan South Beach is a solid choice if you’re looking for a stylish, well-located hotel in South Beach with great amenities and a quieter, more refined atmosphere. Just be aware of a few comfort and design trade-offs. It really is too bad, because Boulan is excellent on so many things and I would 100% go back and definitely recommend this hotel to others… However, the bed quality really brought down the overall appeal. If they can improve that one aspect, this would easily be a top-tier stay in South Beach.
