"Lovely cute house. Just make sure you take taxi to arrive and not Uber as you will have to drag your luggage a long way to the hotel. Just that we happened to have a lot of luggages, that was not fun. But location is great, in the old town, cute and safe and clean. You can always walk down to the seaside and walk all the way to the best area in Marbella. Helpful staff. Wonder city to visit."

"It was a great experience for us! The Location was very good because The Obal is located near the beach and the Historic District is located just a few minutes from our lobby entrance!! Really enjoyed the Breakfast and the rooftop bar was pretty cool too!! I had just a small complain about the Pool, quite small and first of all the Open Time… at 11:00 in the morning.. I Think at 9:00 it would be great !! At the end of the holiday I surely suggest to book this Hotel!!"

"Great room, spacious and modern and nice bathroom. View overlooking a street and sea in distance but was ok. Hotel was good, nice buffet breakfast, comfortable sunbeds around pool and great service. Photo is view. Road was a bit noisy from balcony but couldn’t hear it with patio doors closed."

"Hotel muy céntrico y cerca de la playa también. Nos quedamos en una habitación superior con vistas a la montaña, esperábamos mejores vistas por eso, así que quizás una habitación standard no varía demasiado la experiencia en este hotel. Desayuno correcto en la cafetería del hotel con el personal del mismo muy servicial, al igual que en recepción. Disponen de aparcamiento privado interior lo que es bastante conveniente para ser Marbella centro, pero cobran 15 euros la noche. Para el precio de la habitación en temporada baja creo que debía estar incluido o ser más barato. En general buena experiencia y recomendable. Relación calidad-precio aceptable pero para mi gusto y comparando con estancias en otros hoteles lo ajustaría un poquito a la baja en febrero o compensarlo con alguna cosilla como el aparcamiento incluido. La habitación fue moderna, cómoda y con buena limpieza."

"The location of Don Alfredo is unbeatable!!! You basically fall out of the hotel and into the old town of Marbella. That said, the hotel is not one of the newest and it's a bit rocked down, but still well kept. The room was very basic but clean, as was the bathroom. We didn't plan to spend a lot of time in the room anyways, so for our purposes it was perfect for a quite affordable price! 😀 The staff was kind and helpful and in the morning they brought coffee according to our wishes to the dining room table or also to one of the tables right outside at the entrance of the hotel. Coffee was great, but breakfast was not very impressive, so we only had a little bite, but always took some fruit from the fruit bowl 🍎🍏🍊 Parking outside the hotel was a bit difficult, but not far there was the possibility to park for free, just needed to circle a bit sometimes and get lucky with a spot getting empty right in front of us ... Altogether, we enjoyed our stay a lot ... The old Castillo de Marbella was right in front of the hotel and there was a little resto named El Rincón de la Muralla that would seat you right beside the Castle wall - very romantic at night! 💕 After dinner there, we only had a few steps to take to get into bed and enjoy a good night's sleep ... As for the pictures, only the first one is showing the hotel, the rest are pictures taken in the old town Marbella, super close to the hotel - and just to prove how great this location is! 😎"

"The man that checked us in was inpatient and difficult to work with 15minutes to check not needed long time. Expected better from 4 star hotel room average missing basics like charger by beds. Breakfast good but complex to get basic breakfast ordered. Fruits could be better coffee was bad from machine wanted better."
