Business overnight stay, nicely decorated main areas however the room I had is dated. The restaurant food and breakfast were excellent. Nice area out of town and quite with lovely views. Would stay again when visiting the area.

The staff at the hotel were welcoming and helpful, there was a slight issue when we booked in as our family room had been given to someone else with a similar name, but they found us new ones without any fuss

I visit the Pilgrim at least annually. The hotel is very good, the food is generally very good. It is a pleasant place to stay.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. Special mention for Trevor who went beyond the call of duty. Dinners were good. It is a nice place to stay.

Something like my fifth visit to the Pilgrim. The food is good, the rooms are comfortable, the staff are friendly and approachable. Overall very good.

We were greeted with a very friendly welcome - I normally travel a lot for work and haven't been greeted with such friendliness at any hotel on a long time - its normally very formal and regimented so this was refreshing. The entire hotel was really clean and had so much character. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. Breakfast was lovely too.

OK. Tries to be a good quality hotel but needs just a little more work to become excellent. Staff good and ample parking. No fridge in room, or other niceties like safe. Needs a refurb in a lot of areas, looks very dated, and room locks are old style US ones.
Breakfast is expensive for what you get, very limited choice and hot food is served to you, not buffet style which I much perfer. No fruit and little choice of cereals, also coffee not nice from machine.
Evening meal food is good, tasty and well cooked.

We had a family wedding locally and immediate family member stayed here the night before they also accommodated a meal for 22 family members service was excellent
