✨ A hidden gem in Taizhou: Fuchen Yin 府城隐 What makes this hotel truly special is its incredible story — a beautiful transformation from an old 财神庙 (temple of the God of Wealth, so yes… extra good fortune vibes 😉) and a historic printing factory into a serene luxury retreat. Tucked away in a quiet residential alley and accessible by buggy, the hotel feels like a secret escape from the busy world. The moment you step inside, you feel a sense of calm. The rooms are thoughtfully designed with generous spaces to unwind, relax, and simply enjoy the moment. My favourite corners? The library, where I spent time getting lost among the books, and the piano area, where I happily played a few tunes. These little details made the stay feel more like a home away from home rather than just a hotel. The breakfast was an absolute highlight — a celebration of Taizhou’s local flavours. I loved discovering so many regional specialties: 🍵 青草糊 — a refreshing grass jelly dessert with a wonderful touch of peppermint that made it even more refreshing 🍜 姜汤面 and 芋头面 — comforting local noodle dishes 🍰 三色糕 🍚 乌饭麻糍 (with red bean filling) 🥟 扁食 …and so many more delicious local treats that I wish I had a bigger stomach! They even helped me buy the famous 海苔饼 — the whole reason I came to Taizhou — and it arrived piping hot. Truly the kind of thoughtful service that makes a trip memorable. The hotel facilities are exceptional. From the beautifully designed spaces to the thoughtful amenities, everything has been carefully considered. The bed deserves a special mention — probably one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever slept in. They also provide turndown service, luxurious toiletries, and a complimentary minibar (which, by the way, included local rice wine 🍶 — just saying 😉). A huge thank you to every member of the Fuchen Yin team for making my stay so warm and memorable. The combination of history, design, local culture, incredible food, and heartfelt hospitality makes this one of the most unique stays I’ve experienced. Definitely a place I would love to return to. 🤍

The hotel is simply amazing. Located in the heart of Tiantai, it is a true gem. Everything is spotlessly clean, and the beautiful Japanese-style furnishings add a lovely touch. The staff are incredibly helpful and attentive. Even though they don’t speak English, they were exceptionally kind and went out of their way to assist us. Zhang at the front desk was especially lovely and made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Elegant facilites and very kind staff, from door reception to restaurant. Rooms are quite and well equipped. we had dinner at teppanyaki restaurant: great selection of ingredients, masterfully used by chef, preciously served by staff. the view from 29th floor is also a plus.

Truly excels in its highly responsive service, with feedback and speed that are nothing short of impressive. The location offers a mesmerizing night view, facing the bustling high-speed train station and the serene park. The newly renovated city expressway adds to the visual appeal, yet the surroundings remain remarkably quiet and comfortable, providing the perfect balance of excitement and tranquility. For travelers, this hotel is an ideal choice. Its proximity to the HSR station and downtown area makes it incredibly convenient for both business and leisure trips. Whether you're exploring the city or simply relaxing in your room, this hotel delivers an exceptional experience that is sure to leave a lasting impression.

I booked Yunman when planning the trip from Thailand to China. There are so many hotel choices on Trip. I'd like to share why Yunman becomes my final choice. 1. The pictures shown on comments. - From those pictures, I can learned so many things, like cleaness, small designing ideas. They told me many about how serious the hotel owner take this business. - Because I can feel the owner's attitude via those pictures. I can sure the other parts will be no problem also. 2. The descriptions other guests said about the staff - For me, although I don't have many requests to the staff, just hope they can help me checkin well. But the staff in Yunman Hotel, they did great job. Checking-in well is one thing, they introduced me a lot for Taizhou local traditional foods and where I can go for looking. That really satisfied me well. 3. No so chain hotel - Actually I don't like those chain hotel. They makes me feel cold. I don't know how to express this cold feeling. Anyway, all in all, Yunman Hotel is an ideal choice for me.

We expected more facilities for the children, the play area itself was quite big but some things were not working or taken out, like there is a space where kids supposed to dress up but all the shelves were empty. Also some doctors bag to role play were locked so you couldn’t open them. Also the small supermarket just had 4 vegetables and 2 shopping carts. This is a missed opportunity for the hotel and disappointing for us. When we arrived in the room there were some left over noodles in the bathroom sink. Otherwise the room was good, one thing that wasn’t great was sound insulation, we could hear people in the corridor talking very clearly when we were in bed. The breakfast was ok, not as good as i expected, and it was super crowded due to Chinese new year.

ระหว่างทริปพ่อแม่ลูกที่ไทโจวนี้ เราพักในโรงแรมทั้งหมดสามแห่ง และโรงแรม Wyndham เป็นโรงแรมที่น่าพอใจที่สุด บรรยากาศของโรงแรม สุขอนามัย การบริการ และสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกนั้นล้วนแต่เกินมาตรฐานระดับห้าดาว บริการแบบบัตเลอร์ทำให้ผู้เข้าพักรู้สึกเหมือนอยู่บ้าน และทัศนคติในการให้บริการของพนักงานบริการแต่ละคนก็ดีมาก ที่อยู่ของโรงแรมนั้นยอดเยี่ยมมาก ฝั่งตรงข้ามถนนคือห้างสรรพสินค้า Wuyue และขับรถไปชายหาดประมาณ 15 นาที บรรยากาศการรับประทานอาหารเช้านั้นหรูหรา อาหารจานต่างๆ นั้นมีรสชาติเข้มข้น และเวลารับประทานอาหารก็สมเหตุสมผล ผู้สูงอายุที่เดินทางมากับเรามีปัญหาในการเดิน และโรงแรมยังมีรถเข็นให้บริการอีกด้วย โดยรวมแล้วให้คะแนนเต็ม💯

The hotel is good enough if you want something affordable but also near the airport. We booked a family suite for 3 people so it was quite spacious, but the aircon wasn't working well at first. We had to call the hotel's staff twice to help us fix it or arrange it. The hotel itself is quite old, there's not much guests in it. The elevator at the time we went was not working well, we had to take the stairs which smelled old and dirty, and also had to report to the hotel staff to speed up the maintenance. We had working elevator in a couple minutes later, but it was rushed and was only newly set up, so the floor was uneven. The hotel smelled old and smelled like cigarettes. The staff was mediocre. They did gave us an extra fan in case we still feel hot, since the aircon took time to cool up.
