The nearby reclamation monument is a must-see, where you can feel the profound spirit of pioneering and enjoy a 360° panoramic view of the entire island from its vantage point. The adjacent cliffside walkway is thrilling and photogenic, offering breathtaking views of the entire Madaotou area. Walking down the boardwalk leads to the soft sandy beach. During the day, you can wade in the waves, take photos, and wait for a stunning sunset. At low tide, you can also enjoy activities like beachcombing and fishing – a variety of activities to choose from. Opening the window reveals a direct view of the boundless sea; you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves on weekdays and gaze at the starry sky at night. You don't need to worry about the dampness often associated with the beach here; the staff has done a great job, keeping your stay dry and comfortable throughout. What's most touching is the service – warm and genuine, without excessive formality, yet always thoughtful. They patiently explain island arrivals, transportation, and sightseeing routes, and even recommend local delicacies and hidden gems, treating you like family. The owner is always there to help with any small problems you encounter while traveling, making for a perfect experience. Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and immerse yourself in the breathtaking scenery between the mountains and the sea. Whether it's a romantic getaway, a girls' trip, or a family vacation, Wanghai Yunju is the perfect choice for accommodation on Dachen Island. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit Dachen Island, and I sincerely want to share this hidden gem of a guesthouse with everyone!"

After Booking: After booking, the B&B manager contacted me to inquire about ferry schedules and kindly reminded me to book my return ferry ticket! Arriving at Dachen Island: The owner was already waiting for me ten minutes before I arrived at the pier! The seven-seater minivan that took me along the seaside greenway was an amazing experience! Other tourists either waited for the group bus or the B&B's three-wheeled vehicle after leaving the pier! If you want to dine at Meihua Bay, the owner will also provide a convenient shuttle service! The 3.3-kilometer coastal greenway from Nahai Guesthouse to Meihua Bay is perfect for riding a shared electric scooter, enjoying the sea breeze, and stopping occasionally to take beautiful photos! Check-out: Check-out time is before 12:00 PM. If you need to go to other attractions on the day of check-out and can't make it back to the guesthouse in time, you can pack your luggage before leaving in the morning and leave it at the guesthouse reception. Two people experienced vomiting and diarrhea that very night, another vomited a day later, and I vomited after returning to Shanghai. The doctor said that everyone's immunity and resistance differ, so the reaction time varied. However, the hotel was very assertive and refused to acknowledge any fault. The staff member who handled the situation spoke politely but showed no real attitude, assuming that once I checked out, the hotel was no longer at fault. The doctor already said the reactions occurred at different times, and besides, two people experienced vomiting and diarrhea that very day, and the vomit smelled of red velvet – doesn't that prove the problem? Ctrip customer service was very helpful and kept communicating with the hotel. They offered to give me a free night's stay – thank you! I will definitely never stay at this hotel again. Five people got sick from the food; how could I dare stay there? Food safety and hygiene are a red line and a bottom line!"
