This was definitely one of the best family friendly hotels we have stayed at in China.. The check in was smooth..the hospitality of staff members was amazing,they greet you with a smile everytime they see you.. The room was great and very spacious,all the kids amenities were there and thekids loved the bathtub! Star of the hotel is their swimming pool,so big with many pool floats present for everybody to use.. the slides in the small pool are a big hit with the kids! The breakfast was good too..there is a drink stand in the lobby that serves free lemon and cucumber water which is great!! The play area is big and keeps the kids busy for a long time..the arcade next to it very entertaining too! All in all,an excellent hoel for families with kids and definitely worth a visit!

The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, even before my arrival. They tried to contact me in advance, but as a foreign guest, I do not have a Chinese phone number. It would be more convenient if the hotel could ask for guests’ WeChat IDs through the Trip.com messenger instead. Upon arrival, the staff created a WeChat group and added me in, which turned out to be very helpful. Through the group, they assisted with all kinds of questions, such as recommended places to visit, how to rent an e-bike, and where to eat nearby. The responsiveness and service were excellent. The room was awesome — very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bed was especially comfortable, and the view was fantastic. I also really loved the projector screen in the room, which allowed me to watch WeTV shows and other content. It made relaxing in the room even more enjoyable. The hotel provides e-bike rentals, which is a great feature. However, I was personally under-geared for the weather. It rained the day before, and the entire day was cloudy with temperatures around 11°C. The sea breeze was very strong and cold, especially when riding the e-bike with the wind blowing directly at you. Proper winter gear is definitely needed in such conditions. If the hotel could provide glove and jacket rentals, that would be an amazing improvement. In the evening, the staff even brought a small gift to the room. The gift was thoughtful and practical, and I really liked it — it was a warm and welcoming gesture that made the stay feel extra special. Breakfast was okay. Guests are seated on Level 2, and the meal is served to the table. As I come from a place where some Chinese do not consume beef, it would be great if there were options such as chicken or beef. That said, the beef noodles were actually very good. The Western-style breakfast, however, was quite average.

The hotel has a genuinely cool atmosphere, and the absolute highlight of our stay was the incredible staff. The service here is simply on another level—they are so attentive, welcoming, and ready to help with a smile! The Vibe & A Few Quirks 😹 To be completely honest and a bit playful, the property is a little ”tired” and shows some wear and tear. The strong sea breeze has left its mark with some rust here and there. If I were the manager, I’d definitely grab a bucket of fresh paint and give the place a little makeover! Also, every now and then, you might catch a faint, mysterious scent that sits somewhere between ”stale water” and ”did a confident local stray cat just mark its territory here?” 🐈⬛ But honestly, you just laugh it off. It doesn't ruin the vibe and just becomes a funny part of the coastal experience. Amenities & Dining ☕️ The hotel has some really lovely spaces to unwind. There is a cozy library where you can relax, a great kids' area which is super convenient for families, and a nice bar for the evenings. As for the breakfast, the buffet selection isn't huge, but don't let that disappoint you—everything they serve is fresh, high-quality, and genuinely delicious! Bottom Line: Despite a few minor cosmetic quirks, it’s a wonderful place with a great soul. Embrace the coastal character, enjoy the amazing hospitality, and have a great time! We had a very pleasant stay at Pingtan Skyline Original Hotel. The location is excellent—conveniently situated near the coast and easy to access from the main points of interest in Pingtan. It’s a clean, modern hotel with a cozy atmosphere. The Chinese-style breakfast buffet was quite good, offering a decent variety of fresh local dishes. The staff were always welcoming, friendly, and very helpful—ready to assist with any requests we had. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a nice modern design. However, we did feel it was missing some practical touches. There weren’t quite enough shelves or storage areas for personal items, and the design of the bathroom door was a bit awkward. To exit the toilet area, you actually have to step into the shower space, which was slightly inconvenient. That said, everything else about our stay was great, and we would still recommend this hotel for a short, comfortable stay in Pingtan!

Outstanding service! Every team member we encountered was cheerful and went out of their way to be helpful. They suggested a dining place and showed us to get there. In the evening I asked if I could get some more candy, and a girl from reception brought me a whole bunch of their signature gummies and cookies! Their energy and eagerness to assist with anything we needed made a huge difference. We had an urgent change in our plan and the hotel staff helped us a lot. The design is just amazing! Rooms are quiet, clean and artsy. We were enjoying every bit of it, every detail! And the location is nice as well. Everything was perfect! The staff is a true highlight of the hotel! I wish this hotel prosperity and I hope many more people will enjoy their stays just as we did.

原本衹是因為海景訂了這家民宿，沒想到最後最讓我難忘的居然是服務。特別想點名表揚一下小楊，真的把“服務感”做得特別到位。不是那種流程化的客套，而是會認真關注客人的感受。我們剛到的時候有點累，她很熱情地幫忙安排入住，還耐心介紹周邊路線和適合拍照看海的地方。入住期間不管有什麼問題，基本都能第一時間迴應，而且態度一直特別好，讓人相處起來很舒服，沒有距離感。細節真的很加分，會讓人覺得這趟旅行被認真對待了。海景很美，但真正讓我願意給五星並且想推薦給朋友的，是小楊這種真誠又細緻的服務。以後如果再來這邊，應該還會再住這裏。

This is absolutely an outstanding hotel in China, the best one out of 6 the past few weeks for me. The staff are very professional, extremely helpful and polite and caring. As an example, they helped me get to a village by the beach on Pingtan Island and then checked on me in the evening to make sure i got back safely! What hotel does that??!! There is a fresh seafood restaurant next to the hotel and all the sea produce are absolutely fresh & in huge aquariums, no fishy smell and very clean. Starbuck is on the other side of the lobby. Amazing hotel, worth every penny!

Location is really convenient, near to amenities and the beach. Room is clean and housekeeping service is fabulous. However the down side is that the service provided by the staff from the reception is substandard for a four star hotel, staff at the reception is not welcoming and giving people an uncomfortable feeling. Staff did not greet and both of them standing at the counter will just stare at you while you are walking towards them. Upon reaching the counter, they will not serve you until you start speaking up. After handing over of room cards, did not guide on where is the lift and where is the breakfast at.

The hotel was beautiful and clean. The location is a little remote but so quiet. This was a great opportunity to get away from the city, and enjoy the island. The room was presented in a beautiful clean manner, we also received a plate of fruit after we had gone to the room. The only negative point is that there were some events happening at the hotel, which greatly impacted on the hotel restaurant. The food took too long to receive after placing our order; and due to it being the off season they didn't turn on the A/C in the restaurant, even after some guests asked for it to be turned on.

I had a wonderful stay at Pingtan Kunhao Resort. The location is excellent, and the view is absolutely beautiful. Before I arrived, I requested a specific room, and the staff kindly accommodated my request, which I really appreciated. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They even allowed me to check in earlier than the standard check-in time, which made my stay even more convenient. Overall, I had a great experience and have no major complaints. The only small issue was that one of the chairs in the room wasn’t very clean. Other than that, everything was excellent. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Pingtan.
