Sunflower is a light and airy traditional Gozitan property spread over one floor. From the front, double doors open onto an arched hallway that leads into a large open plan living room, dining room and kitchen. There are three bedrooms, one of which has en suite bathroom. Sunflower is accessed via steps up from the road into a secluded complex of just four houses.
There is a private pool and large patio area at the rear with table and chairs and a large built in bbq. From here there are lovely views across the fields & the lighthouse, to the sea. There is also a stone staircase leading up to the roof space.
The house has fans and, air conditioning in the bedrooms, for both cold air and heat.
Sunflower is located on the outskirts of the charming village of Ghasri, which has restaurants, shops, a pharmacy and a distinctive red domed church. A short distance away is the fabulous church of ta Pinu that, since the rumour started in 1883 of our Lady of Ta ‘Pinu talking to a local, has been a pilgrim destination for many. Visitors include St John Paul 11 and Pope Benedict XV1. The Inland sea and spectacular blue hole are a short drive from here as is the local craft village. The capital of Victoria is a ten minute drive away and a visit to the ramparts of the Citadel to see 360 views of the Island is a must.
