This hotel is about two blocks off the main street. The quiet setting is complimented by gardens and a European atmosphere. The public areas are graced with natural wood and stone. There is a bar, shop, and comfortable sitting areas. The rooms were also comfortable, well appointed and pleasant. We enjoyed our stay, the staff and the amenities. The breakfast was complete with many options and the check in service was fast and efficient. On the whole, this family run hotel is a great place to stay. I would recommend it without hesitation.

Excelente hotel , café da manhã razoável ( croissant delicioso ) , excelente atendimento ( Nickolas , muito simpático ) , quartos limpos e confortáveis , Excelente cama , calefação agradável , bom serviço e atendimento Não gostamos do suco de laranja ( muito artificial , não recomendo ) pedimos água com limão .

THE GOOD: The hotel is beautifully decorated, with a great ”elevated mountain lodge” vibe. The lobby and restaurant area are beautiful, and breakfast was tasty. Having a pool and sauna was also nice to unwind after a long day of hiking. The bedroom was large and comfortable. The hotel is not on the main ***** of town but a short 10-minute walk away, so it's no inconvenience. THE NOT SO GOOD: The level of service was definitely not up to par with the price/category of the hotel. At those prices you expect attentive, effective service and that's not what we got. They seemed overwhelmed and unprepared, and they made various mistakes throughout our stay (prepared the wrong lunch boxes even though we made sure 4 times before that they had gotten the order right, mistakenly gave our room key to other guests who entered our room, etc.). None of it was that important, but their reaction made us feel like we weren't important to them at all - they even said they'd send complimentary gifts to our room to apologize, which they never did (thus making the matter even worse). Overall it's a good choice for lodging in El Calafate as long as you don't have crazy high standards regarding service.

Nos alojamos en habitacion privada en la hostería del Hostel, compartiendo espacios comunes, lockers y desayunos con la gente alojada en habitaciones compartidas. Todo super bien. La atención en recepción muy buena, la calefacción perfecta , el desayuno sencillo pero rico. Usamos la cocina sin problema. Nos reservaron tickets para paseo con salida desde la terminal.. Muy recomendable el Hostel, muy bien ubicado,cerca de todo.
