This is a very nice hotel with a fabulous breakfast! A really nice variety of quality foods at breakfast. All of it good. Parking is free and easy to find a spot even though the hotel was busy. Beds were comfortable. We enjoyed staying here and would again!

It was a short couple visit in September. Beautiful hotel, very cozy and comfy bed. The rooms nice and spacious, great indoor pool, sauna and outdoor pool. The staff is just amazing- they didn’t say NO to anything we asked for. Very good food. Nice breakfast with lots of local treasures. This hotel has (near the bar) great sofas area where you can just read, rest or chill anytime of the day. My favorite spot. As it is city hotel the views are not so great

We stayed at this hotel in October 2022. We had room #214. The good : Check-in was fast. The staff at the lobby is great. Friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, there is a mini-fridge and a safe in the room. No carpet. Nice bathroom with good water pressure in the shower. The room has a strange configuration with the window being at an angle but it is still very functional. You can open the window. Comfortable bed. Reliable Wi-Fi. USB ports available in the room. Grocery store about 10 minutes away walking. Breakfast buffet is good although the selection is limited. The bad : Nothing really bad to say about this place beside that the room we got was smaller than usual, but not a problem for us. I would definitely recommend this place.

I lead a tour of a group from Israel in 5* hotels. The only 4* was this one (In Covilha there is no 5* hotel) and this was the best hotel on our tour. You do not need stars, you need organization, nice service, good food, clean rooms - We had it all in Purala. We were taken care of by Bruno who was a teriffic hotel person. For sure I will keep bringing groups there.

Fantastic value, luxury feel, great service, fantastic breakfast. Nice pool and steam room. Whilst it’s not the most picturesque location in the Serras, it’s a fanatastic luxurious base.
